Scare everyone into selling their shares? As if the stock market is in need of emotional investors? Am i missing something?

I think £1.60 will be the breaking point before fundamentals improve. Could see £3+ in a few years from now.

I think it depends on what happens to cash ultimately. Further 'write offs' is all coming out of cash ultimately and when net debt is so high have to wonder where it will end up. Yes there have been offers in the last year but these companies walked away once they looked at the books. The excuse they gave was preserve WGs share price but let's face it those companies have people that do their due diligence for them and sometimes even £1 is over valued.

I think this should be a lesson to ALL. If insiders buy (which i have never seen before at these levels) like they have in VCP - you 'BUY' - don't over think Balance Sheets and P&L's - just BUY. I think that was the biggest clue because no one will part with £2M if the company is going up in smoke. I still believe a takeover offer will arrive soon - whether management entertain it is another matter entirely. Debt in VCP doesn't read well especially when sales are down. GLA

@Glowacki dont feel bad. Sometimes you have to walk away and take profits. My advice is look at other opportunities. I'll give you two worthy of a look at: Wood Group & Wizz Air - both with good upside. Another one is Gulf Keystone (good dividends with this one).

Could be a takeover leak. Thisnis what usually happens when good news is about to come out

Going straight up today. Positive outlook with plenty of upside. Think £1.50+ is very achievable

City sources telling me a takeover bid is incoming.
