The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Weathergeek, as i seem to be in the middle of your extrader debacle, and i am in no way speaking for his reply to you that you seem obsessed by, he/she is not me...as i have kind of said twice now, once in the thread i started about Mr Nasty Child (with damn fine info when he didnt choose to go on the offensive I may add for the hundreth time) that seems to have been deleted by what i can only assume is these so called rampers.
Kind of reminds me a bit of brexit, it seems impossible to make any comment one way or the other, critical or questioning, without the herd trying to quosh, label and chase away fellow forumites.
I am invested, rather more than most i am thinking, and it is all get rather vicious as we all chase this 'once in a lifetime' 'jackpot', 'early retirement' or 'house buying' share. But there really seems little point getting offensive...which apunter2 consistently does, shooting off and then apologising within 2 posts to things he had missread (probably caused by his decreasing pile of nose candy).
I know you are making a mountain out of molehill out of this one and really way off track because I know I am me. I am sure extrader will give you his reply in the fullness of time but the longer you hammer on about this, your only damaging your own credibility for all these facts/guesses you keep pumping the forum with. Great to dream on for sure, me too when it was fresh, but now its all getting a little tired...like waiting for the sun, with nothing new to fill the time. I think it will come good actually but there are still some questions that need answering that none of us know the answer to yet. You're floating on faith, i and others ask but no need for warfare!
Weathergeek, you are so wrong about me being extrader, or knowing anyone in my life who even knows about this webpage, it kind of speaks volumes. Anyway, i just hope all your stuff about SYME is correct, cause your way off elsewhere!
Very well spotted again extrader and i totally understand where you stand WHF!
SYME is connected to such a complex mix of companies all over Europe and all seemingly interconnected to the current heads, which is always a worry as something that deliberately cant be untangled for whatever purpose. This is often pretty normal but clarity is definitely called for to foster 100% confidence.
apunter 2, that said, i am still hoping your idiotic flag waving and rather embarrassing shooting from the hip attempt at dismissing real human beings, including your 3 year old lol's and haha's, is no mask for the fact that you are right!
apunter2, you could spend all day trying to explain why a turd is the prize rose in the Queen's favourite garden just because she said it was in a letter somewhere!
Thanks extrader.
It certainly will, the DW situation will be very interesting to here.
There was also the other ridiculous suggestion DW had some kind of personal injury, or something equally ludicrous, which was equally as idiotic as his 'money problems' speculation founded on the fact that those excuses fall between the guidelines. Lets hope one of those esteemed gentlemen has a real answer and not one guided by these guidelines companies spend much money trying to get around.
Hi @extrader,
Could you explain in the simplest terms what this means please before the over positive spinsters confuse it all.
Apunter2, we have completed our merry dance you will be pleased to hear from my end.
Good on verification, cr@p on judgement, bordering on delusional at the very least when asked a simple question. Me or you, you can be the judge of that!
Apunter2. Point proven, you have no names. The only names we have so far are the companies behind SYME, which have less than stellar records. That you will not even admit SYME dont name companies they are 'directly' trading with, i.e. getting money from, kind of does give this the feeling or you being way too defensive or trying to deflect my point for your own reasons (i hope). However, I'm asking you a question, name one company in that last RNS? You read them over and over and over again, so surely if there is a name you have divined with your special company divining rods i can't personally see, buried below the legalese, like the Da Vinci code, please dish it up. I am waiting...
I think we are both on the same page of the long hold but how we end up getting to a successful position is of fundamental importance. Those 30 companies you mention are unnamed. Not only that, how could the FCA prove or even investigate that statement considering they are in Italy...i doubt they would even raid the company to find that info if it was a sole UK company? It looks like they are trying to fumble and bull**** their way to success, when to my eyes, according to the idea at the centre, they dont need to. They need to stop focusing on misleading us and worrying about pumping the share price unnecessarily because if they are trying to do that, you have to ask yourself why, it certainly isnt to help us planning to be long time holders. It seems geared towards the day traders and who can i ask has been selling and moving shares around recently in a confusing manner.
Come on apunter2, even in your occasional moment of doubt, you cant tell me you can justify naming companies they arent actually trading with to make it 'appear' like good news. And if they use that tactic in an RNS, what does it say about the reliability of all the content. And i know from person experience, the FCA isnt what it used to be. The balance has shifted towards being more business friendly, which opens up cracks...and this using deceitful language is no help. It should be called out by us, not them, and you are not helping in that regard by being a 'fact' proving cheerleader, proving facts that are dubious in many cases even you must find hard to put a spin on. We all have money in this and we need to know when we are being slighted or told the truth, its called monitoring a company...and i think we both agree, the idea itself is very exciting. And when the two mix, thats when situations like this arise and people stop trusting the company.
Is it a surprise, using RNS that mention big name firms they arent actually trading with to instil confidence in shareholders. Apunter2 may like to use his 'evidence' to support everything in a SYME RNS but that assumes everything in the RNS is as it seems. He just verifies what they are saying assuming it all to be true, using real rules and information to support each SYME assertion. However, time and time again, the RNS' just look like share pumps written in the worst kind of legalese where the reader can see what they want to see, and we still have no names. Investors arent all idiots, and why there may be over enthusiastic cheerleaders here, it looks like the tanking price is down to a lack of confidence in the wider world.
AZ needs to get a grip of his public relations, if he himself can recover from misleading, over enthusiastic, share pumping RNS'. I cant see anything that will stop this falling unfortunately. What read like 2 huge RNS' recently have not stopped the fall back to the 'real' value of the company as it is today, which, as sad as it is to me, doesnt look too high.
Still hoping for the future though. It will become serious when the RNS' are just the facts, written in plain English, and less a set of predictions using companies names they dont appear to be even trading with. There is a word for that!
Lokiloo,
You may indeed be correct, the led is important. It reads the other way to me though, that the named companies are not involved and the companies involved are not named. The sheer competence of this language is so deliberately vague, its created to deceive. Its amazing sometimes when you do read a document 'written in plain English' by the same kind of lawyers who crafted these RNS' for SYME, how clear and precise they actually are. That we are debating it could be one way or the other is in itself evidence it isnt what it seems, and that it has been written like this, it doesnt deserve to be read in the way it has been targetted at me to interpret it by shouting out about the positives or thinking about them positively like i was this morning. Its not right!
Lokiloo,
Maybe he shops with them when visits home but this kind of helps: "This portfolio comprises corporates of various sizes WHICH FORM PART OF supply chains led by the following companies."
That may be true lokiloo, although its just more words that kind of make some kind of basic sense in a given circumstance....but it isnt evidence of anything. The point is AZ has used the names of large companies he doesnt have a relationship with to convince us his idea is legit today in an RNS. Why you would believe anything someone says to try and right a confusion he has deliberately created to try and jack up his share price. And on the back of some rather confusing recent share activity i should also add. Once bitten and all that, best to be a little sceptical.
Hi extrader,
I wonder if he would have answered that he is in the process of banking it as we all sit around debating whether his company is legit or not, and that he'll be long gone when Brexit kicks in putting it into his fellow grand deceiver's real estate companies!
That's one of my nightmare's anyway.
Hi extrader. I agree. Without evidence, I actually have been considering this was a trial test company that may have just allowed its inventory to be test run in pilot software. If it was a success, would this company be a continuing client. Its different when you get something for free and then when you have to start paying for it. How do we know one of the italians isnt friendly with the company, for example, and they just allowed SYME to test its platform with a simulation.
I hope when he tested the platform with sheep i seem to recall, it wasnt some kind of inside joke, with us being the sheep!
I think a wholehearted yes seadoc. I also imagine it would include the pest control company who fumigates twice a year in one Milan branch of Carreour (if there is one). I cant imagine why they would use such wording in the RNS when everyone important in the company of importance and their lawyers will have been pondering every word. It doesnt help anyone and makes me think its a big con again. Why else would they do it? I just cant comprehend why they would use the names of companies they are not trading with, when many of us, myself included, read it as trading with those companies. Its shocking and AZ will i am sure have to get another RNS out explaining himself...and i would urge the twitterarty to ask him directly what he is playing out. This needs clarification or the share price is going to tank!
Very interesting and well observed extrader. Especially point 3, which caught my eye.
You are clearly correct that they have named companies that they are not trading with, which is at best deceitful considering it is the names of the actual companies we want, and at worst, well, event the most ardent supporter cant argue with this: "This portfolio comprises corporates of various sizes which form part of supply chains led by the following companies..."
I had been feeling rather relaxed about this whole thing today, and I am sure your other points are equally as astute to someone who understands such technical aspects. But naming rather large companies and not actually naming 'THE' companies should be an insult to everyone here, regardless of what investment we are protecting.
I dont know what to make of it actually but the reality is the reality, and AZ has just again pulled a slight over most of our eyes. I wonder how Carrefour and the other companies feel about being named in this RNS when they are not directly dealing with them. One can only continue to ask who the companies are SYME is dealing with and why SYME are continuing to hide behind some rather excellently written legaleze that suggests one thing but says absolutely nothing. And not for the first time either.
And if there is this much deceit behind naming names, what do you think it says about the projections and numbers. And one further reach, what do you think it says about AZ? I feel rather shafted and deflated once again!
Probably because some people have realised they arent going to make the quick profit they purchased for, and that it will be a long burner solely dependent on concrete contracts, names and actual earnings in the bank, with the odd share consolidation and beguiling RNS thrown into the mix!
It looks good though!
