Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It is not correct to say that talks haven’t progressed, they have, mentioned in a number of different RNS’s. We are just waiting for the the RNS that says, this is the deal and with who. The recent research note gives an idea of valuations, and PC will have had an input. These valuations are likely to increase as deals crystallise. There will be transport and extraction costs going into the equations giving valuations. The point is that related companies will see the market moving. Happy to wait and see, my bread is on the water. The monthly costs are minimum, so happy to wait for the right deal. We are fully funded and can afford to be strong sellers, with most shareholders aligned, so no hurry!
Simple Shelly, because the stars are all aligned in the long term demand for our assets. Just a matter of time, contracts could drop any day. The delays are positive, as the market strengthens. I want PC to be a strong seller, and take his time for the right deal, which will give us the best value. Low risk at this level, high reward and multi bag prospects. Fill your boots, you know you want to, but are you too proud? Been in this for about 5 years, accumulating as the prospects improve. Happy days IMHO.
Look on the bright side Shelly, you could fill your boots waiting for the RNS that changes everything. Past share price history means nothing, just a marker in the sand. We are very well positioned for the future, enjoy and reread the research notes. The future is bright, just a matter of when.
The market is such that only signed contracts will move the share price, another brick in the wall and potential is ignored. We just have to accept the reality, and hope that once the size of the contracts are revealed the market will react accordingly. The upside is huge and I believe we will be well compensated by holding at this level IMHO.
Moving forward to the December deadline, all signs are positive that this is all but nailed on. Once the drilling is completed they will be able to tell how deep the resources are, and be able to estimate what the 3% royalty will be worth. I would imagine they would want to negotiate that 3% royalty away with a discounted upfront payment. Patience as ever, but not long to wait on this one.
Yes I agree with you Dan, however in this case I am sure PC gave a steer as to valuations. These are the valuations that are currently being negotiated over, and are current and not based on wishful thinking. I queried these valuations, as I was disappointed that they were so low!
All sounding very positive for the industry, with increasing demand and interest. SRES the place to be! I bet PC was being chased around the event. I am pleased that we didn’t do a deal early last year, as I think the terms in todays market will be a lot better. We just have to have patience. The last report valued the company at 8 times todays share price, so downside is limited IMHO. Not long now to wait.
This is massive news, we now have a clear path to income generation over many years with no risk, apart from country risk! The Chinese know how to deal, so the temporary suspension will be lifted very soon IMHO. They will take everything that we can produce from all the licences that we hold. In a few years the Chinese will buy us out, they will not want to share! Whether the market responds who knows, but the potential is there.
The presentation really spells it out, 2.5 million ounces with great potential to take it to 5-10 million. He is trying to get across to the audience that he is flabbergasted how cheap our share price is, and to smell the coffee. Yet the market is still not convinced, with a slow gradual movement upwards from the 16’s. It is a binary bet, my gut feel is that it will be bought for a lot more than todays price. Downside risk negligible, upside, could bag once twice even 3 times with gold at 2050 USD. Exciting times, an RNS could drop at any time. It makes me smile to think that the current valuation is only valued at 25% more than our balance sheet value, after all those years waiting. I have convinced myself to buy some more. A no brainer.
All explorers have to raise and dilute, until they get into a revenue generating situation, we are on that cusp. PC does not want to raise unless he has to, and has historically kept it to a minimum. Personally I am not worried about any potential raise.
The share price reflects a lack of interest in the sector, no revenue, and delays. The research note now gives the clues as to how PC sees the valuations, with the revenues being given. It is worded in a way that allows PC to play the projects any way he wants. He knows the share price is in the pits, but is confident value can be obtained, with the share price responding accordingly. We don’t have long to wait until we bag from here. A great opportunity in my view. I can understand the views of the dissenters with their personal directed negativity, as the share price is terrible, but that perversely has helped generate an opportunity! We will see, with PC the biggest shareholder, I am happy to follow the clues. One day the market will wake up, in the meantime we wait, and for those inclined accumulate! Very pleased with the research note and the follow up.
The research note gave a current value of 0.6 to the company. I queried this, as I thought it was on the low side. I was pleased to understand that this valuation would increase as the projects move into realised contracts. We just have to be patient. Through my eyes the potential looks very bright indeed, however the market doesn’t care about potential. A real pension maker IMHO. Downside limited, upside? Exciting times, riding on the back of the green revolution. The delays have been frustrating, but time has been our friend as far as valuations are concerned. We are living in Inflationary times, with our assets making money sitting in the ground! Putting a positive spin on the delays. Not long to wait now.
So knowledgeable comeonsres2! How you know when there hasn’t been an RNS to say the CS project is going nowhere! A material change which would have to be announced to the market. if you are unhappy sell up, simple. The silence is not a sign that nothing is going on, the clue is in the research note just released this week. Who do you think gave them all the facts. All you have to do is join the dots. The RNS with the details of the options at .15 gives you the timeline clue.
