If you reckon such share behavior isn't unusual why did you deem my strong buy as contradictory to me reckoning the share might well drop back to 1.25 ish over the coming weeks? Perhaps you're a pedant ? Or an argument seeker ?

..... I think this share will rise, hopefully in an exponential fashion over the coming years so I reckon it's a strong buy.

That accepted it's proven to be quite volatile so 20% dip from the current high wouldn't surprise me. Due in no small part to fill selling on highs as they take their profit & less folk buying in. I mentioned all if this a few weeks ago too before it went below 1.20 iirc

It won't rise linearly.... that's for sure.

........... I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped back in a week or so to 125p or thereabouts. don't shoot me folk, merely an opinion.

I've no doubt £1.425 will look a bargain in the future but I'd be very surprised if £1.2x isn't available later in the week after the usual profit taking at the latest high materialises :)

"Premier will most likely cover 15,000 to 20,000 miles" ............ I traded in my last vehicle with almost 3mm thread on 4 tyres, I had rotated in the spare. The vehicle had done 55k miles. GoodYear Wrangler HP AW tyres. It was a full time 4 wheel drive also.

The results are nothing but perfectly acceptable for where Versarien were. This company is all about the future. It's still in it's infancy from a commercial perspective. There was nothing at all remotely concerning in the results.

By long termers I mean folk looking to hold longterm, not traders.

Indeed, tomorrow is indeed irrelevant for us longtermers. In saying that if it's evident that shortterm there's not much happening to effect the bottom line for a while there might well be opportunities to buy in at lower prices again. Which can be positive too.

Well I reckon there's almost exponential growth in this share price but there will inevitably be falls after the rises despite all going well the overall trajectory being steeply upwards.

and my initial comment was that if there wasn't further good news after the high a few weeks ago we could see £1.10/1.20 as folk selling outnumber those buying.

I wasn't far off with my £1.20 prediction that prompted knickers to be twisted..... £1.238 or a tad lower seen this morning. I've bought a few more at that.

The results won't be at all much different to the last set, they aren't selling much afaik and they are spending quite a bit.

I do hope I won't be accused of deramping etc but I feel we are likely to see £1.20 or very close to it this week. Nothing to worry about, simply in the absence of solid news etc from Versarien we don't have a constant stream of new investors ........... and there are plenty folk selling at the current prices for whatever reasons (traders, folk taking profit and moving on to the next share etc etc etc)

It's easy to claim traders do well once they do it right in the current times (the last 7 ish years) as the market has been on an upward trajectory. Doing it right is par for the course in such times.

I was accused of "Well you would say that serial deramper.. yes I know your name... " after suggesting the share price might well go down on the way to the inevitable highs.

Iso' is full of passive aggressive comments for anyone who suggests anything but up up up will happen to the VRS share price. She could well take lessons on holding a conversation without posting such rubbish herself.

Shares don't just go up, up, up day after day. That's not how the stock market works ya dosey mare :)

I reckon that unless some further good news comes through over the next week or so we'll see more folk selling off at the current high than new buyers coming in. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see £1.10/£1.20 soon before the next, inevitable climb back to here and far beyond eventually.

I reckon that as the price rises quite a few investors sell on the high or on what's a high to them. As loads and loads of folk bought in at prices below or at £1 the last couple of weeks since the £1.40 peak gave plenty opportunity for those happy with a 10,20,30% profit for a short period.

that provides some supply .......... as the price gets lower it's less tempting to sell and some folk who sold might well buy back in to stock up for future rises, demand increase and supply is limited. Riinse and repeat. So here we are again with a rise, all IMO of course. This is a volatile share, there will be many drops on the way to the huge eventual high ...... the beauty of stocks.
