Elir, thanks for the warrant information. Would the dates that they need to be exercised by have tied into a programme of works, so by March 2021, when these warrants are due, ALBA thought they would have been further along at Greenland, but since then, they have been hit with COVID restrictions?
I will agree there that an official tweet of the kit working would be good, I don’t think that would be price sensitive. A daily update is not something that we need, which is what some seem to want, as long as something is being processed and that is evidenced. Im stuck in UKOG, there is more hassle on that board as there are people taking photos and videos daily and then you get someone querying it; I have learnt the hard way there that too much information can also cause challenges/concerns, which then puts off potential PI’s.
(Now back to my non-Government funded desk for today, which I’m glad about today with the weather as it is outside!)
Holst, if that was aimed at me, wrong! Haha!!
Sorry, Wednesday at 11am!
Anyone mind waiting until Thursday at 11am for me to get paid and have a top up?
Why do you think that? It would explain today’s price movement, so helps me understand why the significant drop early morning returning to close to yesterday’s close once it was filled.
The late large(r) trades show that to me, someone somewhere knows something. You don’t put that much in without confidence. Also, nothing has changed, we are working at getting the gold that is confirmed out of the ground and we are doing that by saving money and doing it ourselves (this week as I message!)
No, the content is per tonne, so if 1 tonne was sent, there is 20g of gold, if 100 tonnes, we have 2,000g
Soil samples (for asbestos etc) can take 4-6 weeks to return in normal working conditions, so if the lab is on reduced staff due to restrictions, then a slight delay is inevitable whatever size was sent; i don’t see that slippage in results as a set back as it’s not critical path and activities could and were going on well at the mine whilst it was being tested....it’s us impatient shareholders that want the results sooner...great RNS this morning.
Agreed, you can’t take a mine home to work in! Wales will continue “as normal” with regards to construction; but they seem to be having a shake this morning, dropping sub 0.5p will probably trigger a few stop losses.
I’m good with the prospects and programme of companies, but can someone that knows more about trading help; if a trade is shown late, does that mean that it has only just been filled and the time shown against it is the time that the trade was placed OR does it mean that it was lost in the system OR does it mean that the MMs are playing games/creating the market?
I was rereading the RNS last night and thought the same, they would have done a “dry test”, switch on, watch the new shiny parts spin and a “wet test”, possibly for a required acceptance period; that “wet test” would have required some rocks, so someone knows something.
This is different to UKOG, they are drilling virgin territory, I’ve had enough of them and sit on a paper loss. ALBA are drilling an existing goldmine with modern techniques and technology, so targeting “sweet spots” should be more accurate and profitable. Watching the share price drop each day is frustrating, but as I’ve said in previous posts, you will not have satisfied the regulators/stakeholders that they have, if you were not certain there was something there.
I think the processing plant has arrived just in time, as looking at the news today, the ports could be getting worse.
All ok in Wales, construction/mining can’t work from home.
My personal opinion ((FWIW)...I work in the water utilities sector across Wales as a project manager for civics projects. The national parks are notoriously hard to get any planning permission (for the right reasons), also NRW are strict, but fair. Pleasing both planning officers and the NRW, I see as a big step and ALBA have managed to do that and maintain programme, as well as deal with COVID and restrictions, so I’d say they are doing very well.
Kit from SA, I’m no shipping expert, but if you just do a simple search, that is 16-21 days, but someone on here brought up how busy UK ports were, so I’m expecting a delay there, end of December, early Jan.
Greenland is ticking along in the background, that is behind programme, but that is due to international restrictions, which no one can deal with, so we, like others just have to crack on when we can.
Someone will be filling their boots, it happens and is as PI’s cannot change it, personally I would rather see smaller incremental increases each day, firming up the share price, rather than a 100% rise, putting people that bought in high at a high risk as there is limited buys between 10 and 90%, so then the share falls 60%+ very quickly. The gold is there, that has been proved and as my previous posts, for ALBA to get the permissions that they have to date in that area of Wales, they are ticking the right boxes with the right stakeholders.
The RNS is great, keeping programme in the construction and mining industry is hard enough as it is, with COVID thrown in, it’s trickier; supply chain and workforce can both be affected and cause delay, so as ALBA have achieved the programme of end of October, also in one of the most regulated areas of Wales, I’d be happy as the Project Manager!
Dewatering is dependent on a number of things, the main ones being the water that is being removed and what contaminants/minerals/sediment it may contain and then the size/quality of the nearest watercourse and the uses it has. There could be a simple option, as this water is probably filtered through the rocks, it may just be into a straw bale filtration lagoon; or a longer settlement period through a “silt buster” type process, which is not a significant cost. The NRW will be hot on this due to the NP and probably the aesthetics/uses of the watercourse it will flow too, it is all possible, as long as ALBA build and maintain the relationship that they seem to have.
Just thank the sellers and MMs for letting you pick some up cheaper...I have!
I’m guessing some large delayed trades showing up....
I work for a Water company across Wales and going back to someone’s point earlier, if the NRW are on site, you need to be confident; in a NP, everything is stricter with regards to planning, so all seems to be lining up.
Be nice to have confirmation RNS with a few words around the companies position with the SCC appeal, are they or aren’t they going to appeal?
