Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I’m struggling to see how this is good, yesterday I owned shares in a company that held 100% of Greenland prospects...now I own shares in a company that owns part of those prospects.
It’s almost been a month since DCWW responded to confirm they had no issue with the discharge as it was downstream of their sample point, so it can’t be far off a decision on the dewatering license.
If ALBA had hit 30g/t, you’d have people saying that they must have hit every nugget on the way down, so there is no point mining...BUT gold has now been proven, Alba now want to move to the next phase and mine, when they start mining out the lode in larger quantities, it is only then you will know the true g/t, but for now, Alba have proven gold and as investors we have a commercial mine.
After spitting my dummy from South Wales to Dolgellau and back earlier in the week, I took stock and reviewed the situation. Yes, the share shot up to 0.5p, but should it have? I know some people are now heavily locked in and that is not a great position to be in (on paper), but has anything fundamentally changed? When the share was at 0.5p, we didn’t have a bucket of gold, today, at 0.25/6, we don’t have a bucket of gold, but we do have a much better understanding of the potential of what ALBA have; ALBA are an exploration company at present....so my question/point is, did ALBA get to 0.5p on less information than they have today and they shouldn’t have got there until assets were proven anyway; and are we all just feeling sorry for ourselves as if we had sold at 0.5p and bought back in at 0.3p we would be in a better position; and ALBA are at the price they should be rather than the price they will pass through as their assets are proven? I have faith, I have frustrations, but the company do keep us up to date, regularly, they haven’t shown us a picture of gold, no!
After having a 0.27 average, I spat my dummy yesterday at 0.31, just bought back in and kept some of my profit, 700,000 at 0.2935....I do have faith, just had a speed wobble yesterday, then hovered over the buy button all afternoon! Shares really do test patience!
If it was a dead egg, they’d stop drilling, they have some great g/t results through drilling, so they are now refining through further drills as to where the lode goes and then hopefully onto how best to extract. It’s not the assay results that many hoped for, which I will admit, I would have liked to see some evidence of rather than a wishy-washy statement, but it’s exploration. The statement around a separate RNS for the trench work interests me, if they were “not so good” would it have not been easier to bury it in this RNS as noise....or are they good and he wants to release a single great RNS?
This RNS is still positive....have we woken up to a multi-RNS day?
Now 48%
I’m more than happy to be proved wrong, but it does set a precedent, with a party that want to develop the traditional industry and protect the environment. You’d hope that they saw sense and the benefit of what Alba are mining for a greener environment.
Not the greatest result for ALBA
Thanks Yannis, I suppose it is that simple, but my head would not compute.
If the warrants expire this week, do we need an RNS? Also, as they are at 0.42p, I can’t work out in my head if people not taking them is a positive or negative, with us sat around 0.32p, can someone please help me?
I have said it before, Alba have done extremely well to maintain programme through both COVID and the winter, a year is a very long time to lose time and we haven’t lost much, if any; we’ve drilled additional holes in that time and had some very positive comments, even in the last week. Yes, the SP is not going up, but having an hourly update is not feasible either; an RNS to say that they have changed the toilet roll in the thunder box may be the way that some people want to go, but Alba are an exploration company, let them give us something when the time is right and not panic! If it’s bad, we’ve all made a mistake, but if it’s good, then your research and trust will be rewarded....just put things into perspective.
As Sir Tom would say this is the “Green Green grass of home” it’s not greener on the other side!
Just done some buy/sell quotes to see the spread and getting quoted higher price on the bid, strange.
Why would people expect to see a great P&L from a company that are doing exploration, if they can show and explain what they have spent money on and the directors aren’t creaming off the top without producing the results then I’m happy, it’s the results that count in exploration and the current Director sentiment and recent RNS seem positive.
With Tesla partnering with a nickel miner due to risk of supply, there is potential that other manufacturers of electric cars will look to do the same, Jaguar are having their fleet electric by 2025 and Aston Martin have said that their electric car production will be in the U.K., so why not combine forces with an exploration company that is off to Greenland soon; the risk would be higher, but the initial outlay a lot lower and the graphite resource that you require.
Bit harsh Tully....Everyone starts somewhere and you should only risk what you can afford too.
RNS seems positive with regards to programme, so I’m still happy. NRW dewatering license will take 2-4 weeks, they may want to tweak the settlement tank set up though, depending on their size and run them in sequence, which then affects how quick you pump out....I’m presuming we will be panning the sediment as well? If not I can do every other Saturday, 9-5.
Seems to be from a quick google search....but call me stupid, I thought they only traded on London Stock Exchange? Every day is a school day and you learn something new each day....well, as the teachers gave up 10 months ago, it has had to be to home school the kids!
