Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Could be an interesting start to the day tomorrow...?
Just seen it sell over 23.5p...
...is there news? No RNS
Interesting.
Gap re-filled from last week. Might reach 52-wk high on positive news?
Quite some dilution!... it is fast becoming my principle metrics for investment decisions!
ho-hum
My mistake - of course - don't know where my 15% came from (all those 2's and 7's!)... the 6.7% was also quoted in the original placings RNS. Even more of a disparity in that case!
Don't get me wrong - not raising this as an issue. More of an observation, this being a discussion board and all that.
Just realised it also depends how many shares were in circulation at the time Gravner acquired 22%... so in actual share terms the dilution could well have resulted in this new position. Rather a late declaration... or just sorting out the books as you say, following the placement...?
Either way - interesting. Still getting my head around all this!

Very true... but no tax on dividends in an ISA :-)
Plenty more selling to come there I suspect - has lots of un-exercised options left.
Has been doing pretty well this year! Lots of investors cash in his back pocket now ;-)
Doesn't it just... but 227,272,727 of 3,415,997,575 is 15% (placings).
A reduction in stated holdings in RNS from 18.08% to 5.92% is a reduction by a factor of 3.
From a purely mathematical perspective it doesn't add up.
Lots of testing will be needed for many months to come, IMO. Even IF the vaccines are >90% effective all hospital infection cases will still need testing to rule out COVID as a potential cause - probably well up to the end of 2021. Assessment of vaccine effectiveness will also need laboratory monitoring. Surveillance/asymptomatic testing strategies also need laboratory confirmation testing. If anything, the need for PCR capability will increase I believe.
Literally posted message and then saw the RNS...
Indeed, a substantial reduced holding - initial shares at 0.15p last April, now sold for >1p. Nice investment!
Helps explain the recent SP movement.
The gap up on day of dividend announcement RNS was around 15p. The SP is looking likely to rise to near previous highs esp. the day before the Ex-Dividend date, IMO.
Assuming one of two things immediately after: a gap fill back down by 15p, or a drop by the dividend amount (or somewhere in between). Really depends what level the SP reaches by the 10th. If 65p+ then even a 42p drop still leave most holders better off than before (with the Dividend payment), and with the company still holding a portfolio and residual capital to invest and develop projects with... I can't see such a severe drop to <20p. Just a gut feeling of course, DYOR. No trading without some risk.
It may be the reason for the special dividend was two-fold: release funds from capital to shareholders (clearly, good for the directors and other significant holders) and also to minimise the tax liability - the RMS sale came with a massive profit margin. So the potential benefit of funds to shareholders is open to anyone willing to invest. Hence the steady SP movement. Other effects may come from any selling for those wishing to realise a paper profit before the Ex-Dividend day and forgoing the Dividend, depending on their appetite for risk.
...an interesting few days ahead!
Companies House filing confirms the appointment as of 06 Dec.
Also... "CEO, Fortoak PPE Ltd" (based in Loughborough, 12 miles from Nottingham).
"Fortoak PPE is now part of the Fortoak Group supporting and supplying PPE product. Our core products are Masks, Sanitisers and Face Shields. However we have been asked to source Gloves, Aprons and Gowns. We see a long term future being part of this area of supply."
...interesting!... DYOR, of course.
Which of the "Big Four" have they agreed a collaboration with?
Asking for a friend.
Might we see a new 52-week high?... 45p is the price to beat...

Still over an hour of trading to go........ could well be FOMO Friday... or...??? (!)
Please no cross-ramping esp. not about SYME!... definitely need to do your research WELL with that company. First stop is the companies house filings for its pre-'reverse takeover' existence "Abal Group". Next review the original RNS' and look at the complex securitized capital funding structure, their interim statement (not submitted to file on companies house as yet and mysteriously doesn't refer to the liabilities from previous filed accounts) and the "FinTech" securitization loan model...... all distinctly vague and without objective substance. Lots of bluff and techno-jargon. Might be a punt... but DYOR!
Usual ebbs and flow... a morning of mostly buys and some sells early afternoon, once done with the buying pressure will pull things back up, IMO.
This is only one day though... many more days/weeks for the future potential to be realised.

Max111 filtered ages ago. Irritating white noise and tiresome.
Cross-ramping also bad form, IMO :-/
Exactly. Some boards pump out RNS's with no substance only to appease shareholders.
More faith in this team, IMO.
The ramping/moaning is a pain... so many examples of BB which are calm and sensible without outlandish claims and constant bickering ;-)
Although it would be nice to just be patient - take into account the placing in context and wait (hope) that the stated intent i.e. investment into exploration to provide the EVIDENCE for potential and growth to follow... could take months.
Until then... patience... IMO
