Couldn't care less... I voted out to lower immigration and take back sovereignty, the economy will adapt and when we eventually show the EUSSR we can survive outside it other countries will start leaving it one after the other.

The EU will either not exist, or be a shadow of it's former self 20 years from now.

And I'll say again, any shortage of supply in life critical drugs caused by the EU trying to save their political union... will only show the British people that they are very bad people that put politics before lives... it will only reinforce voting Leave was the right thing.

The USA etc will be falling over themselves to offer us drugs... if it's literally life threatening they'd fly it to us in an emergency.

Agreed. But we can decide what type of immigration we want and how much. Right now it's as close to an open door policy as conceivable possible. And I don't want my country turning into a 3rd world sh*thole, especially not now I have a child.

The Platform never goes down, and the on the rare occasion I need to phone them they answer the phone quickly and from the UK. Slightly more expensive than other brokers but you get what you pay for. We have quite a fair chunk of cash with them so the trading fees are not much of a concern anyway.

Freya most people don't realise that the demographic you're speaking about is reproducing at a far higher rate than everyone else. If people really understood this things would change. But you can't even talk about it without being called racist... the Far Left have been controlling the show for too long now. Now we're seeing a fight back, and slowly people are paying less attention to them.

That's the problem with pretty much every Western government just now. Instead of thinking about how they can make life easier for their own people in the form of building more houses and free childcare for working parents which would undoubtedly raise the fertility rate... they would rather just import a new population that reproduces faster than their own people. That way it doesn't cost them anything provided the immigration is not targeting the country for benefits.

Sounds the smart thing to do, until this immigrants don't want to integrate and cause ever increasing strife. Eventually it will affect most people, and then there will be a big kick up about it. I just hope it's not too late when that time comes.

I've got no doubt, that if Scotland every gets hammered with immigration, they too will change their tune.

As a Scot I voted to Leave. If I lived in Scotland I probably wouldn't have, reason being Scotland has not received the crazy amounts of immigration that England has. Voting to Leave the EU is only the start, it doesn't solve this problem, just makes a little dent.

My wife's family... she has an aunt and uncle who live in Scotland who had lived in England for many years... both of them voted to leave to, the main reason was immigration... despite Scotland not having an immigration problem. They saw for themselves how England is changing beyond any acceptable or reasonable level.

I don't want to be anyone's pal here. We're all just anonymous usernames. I come on here for a chat, there's some posts actually interesting. Most of it's baiting each other about the EU, and defending either sides position no matter how ludicrous that specific point happens to be. But there's some stuff worth reading.

I think the main reason this board is rather toxic, is due to LLOY being an incredibly boring stock. It range trades constantly... and could go either way. If a crash comes it will kick people when they're doing. If the crash doesn't come anytime soon and surprises the market it will probably hit £1 after the PPI deadline. But until then it's boring range trading.

People have no control over that, so they come to the message board to have a moan at the reasons and end up in tit for tat haha.

But aye, in terms of hating Scottish people... that's just dumb if that's the way he is. For a start the majority of Scots voted to remain. Maybe that's because 800,000 Scots live in England... myself and my wife included. This is a tiny little Island, we are nothing like we were when the Scots used to fight the English.

There's small minded idiots on each side of the non existent border... but for the most part Scots don't hate the English, and the English don't hate the Scots. Hell the only reason I exist... My English Granda from Kent, met my Scottish Granny during the war, he served in the Navy, she served as a military nurse. He moved up to Scotland and started a family.

If there's ever another World War during our lifetime, if it involves national service... there's a good chance UTrickyTrees will be fighting side by side with Scots.

I agree we are in a sorry state. Both Labour and the Conservatives are a joke. And our essential public services are often unfit for purpose. I had recorded 999 What's You're Emergency... just watched the most recent episode.

One of the Paramedics said if he or a family member needed medical help, he would dial 999 as a last resort... if you see his interview you will see he wasn't saying it in the context of not calling 999 unnecessarily. He was saying it as it was not fit for purpose. The program for the most part was showing how long ambulance times are, and how at some point everyday there is simply no ambulance to send to people. Some of it's due to time-wasters, but the majority of it is due to being starved of resources.

I wish Labour was the answer, but they'll just be a temporary fix... all the other stuff Marxism brings from Marxist Corbyn will leave the country in a far worse state I've got zero doubt about that. First few years people will love him, then reality will set in.

If a market crash comes 40p is very realistic. Statistically the market is due a crash... I mean it's not as if the Worlds Biggest economy is currently at the beginning of a trade war with the worlds 2nd biggest economy.

It's not as if both countries have astronomical debt... nothing could go wrong, nothing to see here... move along.

I hope he's right, but I can't see Theresa May actually delivering Brexit. For months she said "No deal is better than a bad deal"... I'll be surprised if the undemocratic snake doesn't withdraw article 50 if the EU keep playing gangster politics. She's a weak liar after all.

Whatever board you go to. If anyone has a negative view of a stock, especially if they openly state they are trying to make money by shorting it, they get attacked. That says more about the attackers than the shorter.

By attackers I mean cyber bashing. LastCall is one of the only people here talking sense. I can count on one hand how many people here talk sense.

Or with any luck the EUSSR will just refuse a deal, and leave our gutless PM with no choice but to leave hard. She could try suspending article 50, I think that will be the trigger for her party voting her out.
