I disagree, when the country is the 5th biggest economy in the world, but ranks as 23rd on the list of countries by GDP per Capita... it's clear that rampant globalisation has made our country on of the most unequal countries in the world for wages.

Investors haven't gotten "used" to the trade war. They've just priced in the risk as not immediate due to Trump's 25% tariffs not kicking in until January. They're only 10% at the moment, 15% will be added in January. With more tariffs if China retaliates according to Trump's statements.

Assuming neither side does anything different between now and January, then there could be a Santa run.... but if China either unexpectedly puts bigger tariffs on the USA, or retaliates sooner than January, no doubt Trump will do more Tariffs sooner than expected.

Theresa May's close aids are already plotting a November election, it's in "The Times". If she doesn't ditch Chequers, and the 1922 Committee doesn't launch a No Confidence vote against her, and the Tory's don't remove her... then there's a strong possibility Jeremy Corbyn will be UK PM.

If Brexit is completely fudged, or doesn't happen at all... If you think 17 Million people are going to go "oh ok then" you're deluded.

The resulting mess will be far greater than anything Brexit will ever deliver. If you've got a few quid, Corbyn's coming for it... and that goes for your overseas Non-Domiciled property too, he will find a way to tax you for it.
