Michel Barnier had a meeting with Jacob Rees Mogg. During the meeting Barnier proposed a Canada Style agreement. Provided this is not fudged to allow Freedom of Movement continue like the Chequers plan already has done, then it's workable.

If Freedom of Movement is fudges, then it's not. To be honest I don't expect the Conservatives to do anything meaningful about the numbers of immigrants coming here whether it's a Canada Style Agreement or No Deal... they have a terrible track record on immigration over the last 8 years.

The only way the country will truly take back control of it's borders is to vote in a Nationalist party like 7 of the 28 EU member states have already done.

Boris Johnson backs alternative Brexit plan

Former foreign secretary Boris Johnson, who quit the government in protest at the PM's Brexit plan, is backing the proposals being unveiled this morning by the IEA.

In his Daily Telegraph column today, Johnson writes: "There is one mistake we Conservatives must avoid – and that is to fail to deliver on the Brexit referendum.

"If we go with the Chequers approach, the public will spot it. They will see that the UK has become a vassal state, that we have not taken back control, but lost control.

"They will take their revenge at the polls. There is a far better solution, a SuperCanada free trade deal broadly on the lines set out by Shankar Singham in an IEA paper.

"That is the agenda the PM needs again to seize – because it has been her agenda in the past.

"We need to get back to the elegance and uplift of that Lancaster House vision, because I am afraid that Chequers = surrender; Chequers = a sense of betrayal; Chequers = the return of Ukip; Chequers = Corbyn.

The only thing I would comment on though, is that if Theresa May is so weak that someone else can control her actions she has no business being the leader of the UK's government. He's supposed to be an adviser, not the puppet master.

We don't have Freedom of Speech either, if a minority kicks off about something that emotionally hurt them bye bye Freedom of Speech. I grew up all my life thinking I lived in a country that wasn't corrupt, that had a democracy, where people could freely speak their minds.

But I've seen that this simply is not true.

It doesn't have to be this way, but Brexit has been sabotaged by MP's who didn't want the UK to leave, MP's who ignored the democratic vote. When 62.5% of Constituencies vote to leave and votes against the lords amendments were being won by a tiny number of seats, that shows without a shadow of doubt that a considerable amount of MP's are completely ignoring the Referendum result and going what they think is the right decision.

The second Theresa May was made leader I knew it was corrupt. I'm just surprised the entire country didn't kick off about it straight away, it just shows most people still give these lying toads the benefit of the doubt.

Someone who voted for Remain, who did not believe in Leaving the EU is now the leader of the government that is supposed to be negotiating to Leave.

We don't have a democracy, we have a bunch of actors pretending to give the people a say so the population doesn't revolt.

Yet their share as a percentage of Derby's population grew significantly between 2001 and 2011. That's the thing with individual experiences mate, it's subjected. Which is why the statistics are a better representation of the over all picture.

This is what I think "could" happen...

The EU continue to give us the worst possible proposition to sell to parliament so that it's defeated in a parliamentary vote. Jeremy Corbyn asks the speaker to call a vote of no confidence in the opposition... I have no idea if this will be successful or not. If it's not successful, then we are either forced into a Norway style deal keeping Freedom of Movement, and the other 4 Freedoms and paying the money for access to the single market. This will be sold to the electorate as a temporary transition deal, but we all know it won't me.

If the vote is successful and a General election is forced, the 1922 committee will launch a vote of no confidence in Theresa May, at this point all Tory's in marginal seats and probably all of the 80 strong ERG will vote against her... but they still might not have enough numbers.

If they successfully remove her, then the success of the Conservatives will be determined by who they elect as leader. If it's another remainer or one of the soft Brexit MP's... then there's a good chance Corbyn wins the election, not because he's more popular, but because the Tory's become less popular. This will happen due to enough people defecting from the Conservatives to UKIP.

UKIP will off course do poorly in the election, many take 1 or 2 seats at most if they manage any at all, but the number of voters they take will cost the Conservatives marginal seats.

Corbyn would be best to deny a second referendum, but force a general election because he too will alienate many Labour voters by selling his party as the second referendum party.

In fact through typing this I'm starting to think I actually don't have a clue... I think it's safe to say neither will have a majority. The only chance the Tory's have of taking a majority is to radically change, put a strong Brexiteer in charge and make it an us and them fight with the EU. Make them an enemy.

They'd be believed if they've been consistently for Brexit, and they'd be followed if they are seen as patriotic, nationalist and fighting the Enemy which is the EU.
