You say there's some clueless wonder who talk like they know what they're talking about. So are you immplying you're one of the people that's nit a clueless wonder and who does know what they're talking about? Lonmin at the moment has been valued whether you believe it or not. It's valued at what Sibanye is willing to pay for it, and it's not even a cash offer it's a shares only deal for shareholders. So instead of saying Lonmin is undervalued, why not start looking at whay Sibyane is worth, because unless another company comes out of the woodwork offering more than Sibyane for a company that had to delay results over potentially innacurate accounts leading to the potential for a breach of banking covenants... Then you are going to be a Sibyane investor assuming the deal gors through. Not a Lonmin investor. Instead of having emotional digs at people, why not keep it clean and discuss "Exactly" what price would reflect fair value for Sibyane or Lonmin assuming another suitor comes out the woodwork. Because so far I've seen nothing from you showing your financial caluclations or analysis of fundamental to justify you being up on a high horse.

Your investment is no longer in Lonmin, it's in Sibanye Stillwater, so any decision you make needs to be based on Sibanye Stillwater investment potential. The shares you will receive in Sibanye Stillwater aren't a massive amount higher than the current price... and the deal could take ages to go through... possibility of you getting bored waiting. I've sold my small holdings at a fraction under 78p... this could sit roughly where it is for months

DBNO, Happy for you mate, but 25% in a company that genuinely had the potential to go bust or delist.... it's obviously paid of for you so me saying that's the wrong thing to do doesn't hold much weight at this moment in time. But I've lost count on the number of people I've seen over the years on various board doing the same or more and then losing the lot when a company delists. If you do that regularly eventually it will happen unexpectedly. Best of luck though

ST, I assume the "some people" was aimed at me. A) I didn't give you any crap I only told you my trading strategy B) The 8/34 EMA did cross, and I broke my normal rules of closing it when it crossed back down... I did that because I accepted this stock was a pure punt. I had a small amount in each of my accounts. 2 Adult ISA's, 2 Sipps and a Junior ISA... I was prepared to double up if a rights issue happened... but no more than that. No one physically presses the button for you when you buy or sell. An independent mind is required in this game... if you lack the confidence to buy then you're buying with money you can't afford to lose. Reduce the holding until it's more comfortable on ultra risky stocks like Lonmin.

I only ended up with £5k in it, so just a small profit. Ta-Trade has suddenly turned venomous. Maybe it's because he was buying this stock all the way from at least 150p... And he put a lot of money in this stock, he was regularly telling everyone on here how much he had bought each time he did it and at what price he bought. He was attempting to show people that he had full confidence in the stock. I'm stone cold certain he's made a big loss on this at least on paper. He would have been holding out for a rapid rise on Lonmin should things have started to look up, and that was a possibility to be fair. Unlikely, but still possible. Now he has to make do with the shares offered by the other company which won't have the same rapid recovery prospects... this has caused him to realize rapidly that he shouldn't have over exposed himself.... for anyone reading this make sure this sticks in your mind... always have a maximum you're willing to lose. Poor Ta-Trade he's going to have to sit this one out for a hell of a long time to try and recoup hoping a company he never even originally invested in significantly beats it's long term average share price.

If it exceeds 1368.5p I'll go in with an initial small tranche. Higher high, higher low on yesterday's trading session. So far higher low on todays session... need a higher high to show signs of uptrend beginning. If not then back to watching.

I came out of my positions yesterday at around 602p... this market is too hesitant. It's either going to go on an explosive move up or down... more likely down. Take your profit when you have it.

It's probably just a pure punt on a rate rise due to Canada raising last week and the inflation data today. I doubt there will be a rise... which could send Barc it lower again. Pure guess.

Based on the daily chart, not the short term charts.

Possibly around the 174 - 176p level. This was Aug, Sep, Oct 2016 resistance and Nov 2016 support. Assuming no wider market correction.

The USDJPY dropped after finding resistance again at the 11/05 resistance. The daily chart is not yet negative for the USDJPY, but if it turns negative the Gold miners will rally hard. A lot of institutional money is linked to the USDJPY, if it drops Gold and Gold miners normally rise. Time will tell if it's going to downtrend on the daily chart. Today's candle on the USDJPY isn't finished yet, but it's not looking good for it.

On the longer term daily chart the share price bounced nicely off the 200 Smoothed Moving Average. The 8 TEMA has crossed the 34 TEMA upwards. (Triple Exponential Moving Average). However today's rise has some pressure on it partly due to the gap up this morning, the gap has almost been filled. Price broke January resistance today, we want a break through April support of 6925 with an initial target of 7350 then review. Failure to continue the trend here would see support tested at 6495 or thereabouts. This is a volatile stock so it will fluctuate quite a bit.
