Is dropping the FTSE at the moment. Our gutless Prime Minister has just had a meeting she had asked for with Trump declined. She wanted to talk him out of the Steel and Aluminium tariffs. You'd think she was working for the EU the way she behaves... she's conceded pretty much everything they've demanded on our exit so far, and has the cheek to try and tell the only leader in the West with any balls to withdraw his tariffs. Why should he listen to someone who does nothing for their country? And how exactly does she expect the USA to do anything about the Trade deficit it has with the EU and other countries? If they don't want to change, there's no other option than to get aggressive with tariffs. Talking and negotiating is clearly yielding zero results, just as it yielded zero results when David Cameron went over with his begging bowl before the referendum. If it results in a trade war and a global downturn, then so be it. There will be winners, the USA will probably be one of them. Hopefully we'll get rid of the remain supporting Theresa the appeaser, and get someone in who actually wants to implement the democratic result of the 23/06/2016... someone who will fight for our country like Trump is, not roll over like a submissive dog. The USA has $21 Trillion debt, it has to get drastic.

I think Farage and Gerard Batten would be a good combination. One is a strong campaigner for leaving the EU, the other is a strong campaigner for freedom of speech to discuss a certain religion (that the mere mention of could get me banned). Anne Marie waters is also strong, but I don't think she gets on with Batten, hence leaving UKIP and starting For Britain. Either way if Brexit is not delivered as promised with as a minimum Freedom Of Movement ended, there's going to be millions of people with no party to vote for, so a hung parliament is likely again... with some Brexit parties (whoever they may be) taking seats. If the country votes in only Labour and Tories again the UK deserves all it gets.

Exactly, the CEO doesn't own the company. He's just a hired help, the biggest hire, but a hire none the less. The biggest shareholders call the shots. I think nearly 5 years is enough time to prove himself. Revenue is up, but profit is down. Time for change. In my opinion next CEO should be all about finance, an accountant type person. Not a chemical engineer. A strong, structured plan to reduce the pension deficit. A strong, structured plan to reduce the debt.

Agreed RDR, but why Sep/Oct? Is that a guess, or is there something specific happening then? I wonder what the result would be. UKIP are finished the media keep saying, and so does their recent council election results. But if there's no Brexit party... then who else are people going to vote for? If the Tories clearly have no intention of leaving the EU properly, and Labour haven't either... there's millions of people with no party to vote for. Some will abstain from voting completely, but millions won't. The only two parties Pro Brexit where leaving actually means leaving is UKIP and For Britain.

Trump, He's a this, he's a that... but he does his damnedest to deliver what he promised in his campaign. Politician's seldom deliver what they promise in return for votes. He's tackled over 70% of the things he promised so far. There are two types of people in this world. The Gona's The Do'ers Trump's a Do'er.

How on earth can we have a remain voter who clearly didn't believe Brexit was the right decision, now leading the country through Brexit? Democracy is just for show in this country. It doesn't matter if they say we have left the EU. If we are still subject to nearly every rule of the EU then we haven't left, it's a lie, a pure and simple lie. An individual vote means nothing in this country... our first past the post system keeps people voting for Conservative or Labour when term after term they make the country worse. Other parties are not going to win enough power to change anything. So my only hope is that the country is angry enough about this (when everyone realises) and enough people vote for neither Labour nor Tory. Let them have constant hung parliaments, let them setup rubbish coalitions, let them anger more people as a result until the Turkey's have no choice but to implement proportionate voting. Then we get the people we want in power.

1. Referendum date = 23rd of June 2016 2. Article 50 triggered 29th of March 2017 (9 months after the referendum) 3. Transition period added as 29th of March 2019 to the 31st of December 2020 (20 months) 4. During the transition period, there is an implementation period where the UK will be full members of the single market and accept EU immigrants as normal. No change to immigration rules at all. 5. Backstop proposition to be discussed with the EU meaning free movement of Labor through the Irish border until December 2021, which adds another year to Freedom of Movement as there is absolutely nothing to stop EU citizens flying into Ireland and then crossing the border into Northern Ireland and then onto the UK. So effectively Freedom of Movement continues for a MINIMUM of 5 and a half years after we voted to leave. 6. Theresa May is also to ask EU for transition period lasting another 2 years potentially taking Brexit up until 2023, so freedom of movement may continue until 2023 which is also after the next general election on the 5th of May 2022, so nothing to stop those elected to power to move the goal posts yet again. 7. So if Theresa May gets her way Freedom of Movement could continue for 7 and a half years after the UK voted to Leave the EU. The 23rd of June will be the 2 year anniversary of the Referendum. I wonder if anyone can tell me "one thing" Theresa May has negotiated on behalf of the British people in the actual settlement with the EU? Not a transition period, not an implementation period, not a backstop period, and not an extension of the transition period. One thing that she's actually negotiated regarding Trade or EU/UK laws? One thing?

Was angry... I posted the initial post, then all of a sudden "page can not be displayed" or something along those lines. I initially thought, must just be LSE playing up again. It's unreliable a lot of the time. Kept trying... nothing. I thought has the admin banned my IP for that post. So I opened up a browser on incognito mode. And connected to an Azerbaijan VPN and got on immediately. I then turned the vpn off, and it wouldn't load the Glen board. I then connected back tot he Azerbaijan VPN and it wouldn't load the board. So I thought, they've banned that IP too. I then connected to a UK VPN... and bang straight on again. So either there was something wrong with the website not accepting recently used IP addresses or they banned me temporarily. But I have no message about it, so haven't a clue what's going on.

So the admin doesn't like Freedom of Speech. IP Ban, and bypassed in seconds with a VPN. I'm done posting on the LSE. The post was very relevant as the entire market could be affected in either direction on the 12th of June. Don't like the bit about Freedom of Movement admin? What has this country become when you can't discuss a legitimate gripe, a gripe that arguably became the number one reason the UK voted to leave the EU.
