So what's holding it back?

Nothing is ever clear cut with CASP. You have a buyer for some of your assets. Then you ask for more. Then the final transfer date is never quite reached. WTF is going on.....

Over the 12 years I've been in, and occasionally trading this share, awaiting a deep to be successful there have been some decisions that have baffled me. The ones that stick out for me are:

1. Boaty Mc Boat Face

2. 3AB

3. Dividend payments

4. Selling the shallows

Without knowledge, and trying to keep a high level overview, the only conclusions I can determine are Kaz politics and family issues. I should have sold ages ago and because of that, and in my head, I've written off my holding in Casp. My strategy now is to wait until the shallows are sold and see if there is a special dividend, which would support the family issues theory.

UNLESS, they have held something back about the deeps and there is a plan.

Nothing heard from the company for nearly 6 months

I let that digest for a while.

Can someone explain to me what the benefits are from selling the shallows. I just can't get it to work in my head what they are trying to achieve.

Profit before tax $15M

Operating cost $21M

Selling the shallows for $88M means that we have no income and drilling for new wells will cost with no guarantee of success. The money will soon run out if we are just exploring. Surely it would be best to get either a deep in production or West Shelva before selling the shallows.

As usual, everything is strange and information is woolly. Not often a negotiated price is increased? Ah well only 2 months.

What was the result of the general meeting?

I'll wait, there is a lot to happen before I believe that scenario will happen.

I have an investment in AAA which changed from an investment to a software company as they intended to take over Sentiance. They had to delist, which trapped my investment and the shares are now probably worthless. I don't want the same to happen.

If they switch to mining will they have to delist from AIM?
