"Sell before the Trading Statement " is a very strange call considering all the effort put into stripping overburden last year. With all that preparation and gold selling at over £750/oz this should be the best quarter they've ever had. These nimby's have come out with all sorts of crap in the pursuit of their smear campaign. Most of the locals accept that a company which brings millions of pounds of foreign money into the local economy and employs 43 local people with plans to employ even more is good thing. It's only one or two crazy's who spend all their time making up false claim and bashing the company on internet sites.
What did he do to mislead the market? Did he impersonate a company employee too?
I thought we had resolved the issue over grazing cattle, but your granny brought the subject up again with that silly letter full of lies which you nimbys sent to the local rag. If she is seriously concerned about milk, she should picket outside a mine which is producing 40,000 tonnes every year, not a small operation producing 90 tonnes. Will you nimbys please take your nimby tripe elsewhere.
LOL! The nimby has got his letter full of tripe published in the local rag and now his granny is waving it around as though it's fact. If the nimbys are really worried about cattle near lead mines, they should take a look at how close to the Tara mine the livestock are grazing! The Tara mine produces 40,000 tonnes of lead every year! paste these coordinates into google maps and zoom in to see how close they are 53.655569,-6.727699 40,000 tonnes every year! but these nimbys say it doesn't matter if all of that lead gets into Europe's dairy produce as long as the tiny little bit from Cavanacaw is prevented from being safely shipped to Canada for processing. They pretend it's about the milk, they pretend it's about the environment, but the plain truth is it's all about their back yard! It would not bother those nimbys one little bit if Tara started deliberately injecting cows with lead, provided it's not done in their back yard! They claim to be worried about exported milk, what a pair of bare faced liars those nimbys are!!!
"this kind of speculation does no one any good" not so, I am sure I 'm not the only investor who has lost money to shorters and want to be sure GFM is not vunerable before buying shares. Could you give me a few pointers to where I can find details of the JV partner?
It's good to see someone sensible turn up on the thread. I understand that Galantas have been cash-flow positive for the last two quarters, have you any thoughts on the 3rd quarter which ended yesterday? Gold price has been very strong, so bodes well. Do you know hen are they expected to inform the market?
LOL. at least you gave your post the correct title. So you found something on google to cut and paste "Wastes & Residues" now see if you can google again to find out what they consist of. When you've finished, why don't you crawl back to your sad little nimby site and leave investors alone. You really are a sad and odious little man
so you've proven that you have an unlimited supply of crap but you still haven't answered those simple questions. Admit it, you have no idea what tailings are do you. You really are joke. Why don't you sod off back to your nimby site with your small minded nimby claptrap
Why are you still evading simple questions? What do you think tailings are? where do you think Tara put their million tonne surplus every year?
they haven't finished mining the first stage, so it is far too early to comment. You would have known that if you had done adequate research before posting your crap. "Oh well, need to get some more recent photographs back up on the web just for you….." Earlier you posted "You keep going on about accusations that I have made regarding environmental issues! I have told you already nothing to do with me,..." you really are a muppet! Even Colin McCrae could not do a faster U turn!
you are such a clown, you are wasting your talents here. You could single hadedly revive Chipperfield circus . There's nothing wrong with a mining company divesting non core assets to fund it's primary asset. From your own link ... "Tournigan remains confident in the potential of the Curraghinalt Gold Project in Northern Ireland (Dalradian) and the uranium exploration licenses in the USA (TVC-USA), but believes these assets will be better progressed as core assets of C3 and Fischer-Watt, respectively, rather than as non-core assets of Tournigan"
C3 are paying millions just for the licences. Unlike Omagh Minerals, they don't have any freehold property, they don't have a mine, they don't have any production. all of those millions are just for the licences
News released today. C3 resources think the Tellus information is worth parting with millions of dollars for! http://www.mineweb.com/mineweb/view/mineweb/en/page674?oid=90095&sn=Detail Tournigan sells Curraghinalt Northern Irish gold project Thursday , 01 Oct 2009 VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)- Tournigan Energy Ltd. (TVC: TSX-V; TGP: Frankfurt) announced today the sale of its Curraghinalt gold project in Northern Ireland to SA Resources, Ltd. The Curraghinalt project was previously the subject of an option agreement with C3 Resources (see news release dated December 23, 2008) which subsequently assigned its rights under the option agreement to SA Resources. The terms of the sale are: 1. SA Resources will pay Tournigan an initial payment of C$2.5 million on or before October 26, 2009. On making this payment, SA will own 100 percent of the shares of Dalradian Gold Ltd., the Northern Irish company that holds the Curraghinalt gold licenses; and 2. SA Resources will provide a secured promissory note to Tournigan for C$3 million which shall be due and payable on or before December 31, 2009. "We are pleased that SA Resources has purchased the Curraghinalt gold project and will be in a position to advance what for us had become a non-core asset," said Tournigan's president and CEO, Dorian L. (Dusty) Nicol. "The acceleration of cash payments to Tournigan represents a non-dilutive financing which will allow us to resume aggressi
What a load of old cobblers
"The last news report detailed a lot of supposedly new finds!" they were new finds ... unless you can actually show us where to find them in the Howe report. That really would be a neat trick because the Howe report doesn't cover exploration of the 2 new licence areas! Show us some evidence that the pit is actually 55m deep today or are you just spinning us another one of your fantasies?
As you claim to know so much more than I do about Omagh Minerals, why don't you tell investors all that you know about the Tellus project and it's potential to enhance the prospectivity of the company's exploration licence areas. Or do you only post snivelling nimby stuff?
This is a chat room to discuss investments. If you persist in bringing your pathetic little gripes here, don't be surprised if genuine investors send you scurrying off back to your pathetic little nimby site where your bullsht might be swallowed by other small minded, odious little whingers like yourself. I'm sure other genuine investors will see that accusing one mine of vague and unjustifiable environmental issues is a point which affects all mines within the EEC and possibly beyond.
"Tara Tailings – WHO CARES….do they have anything to do with this company or share price" Do you find it a little bit inconvenient when your own game is turned against you? The relevance is that you claimed cattle grazing near the Cavanacaw mine could introduce contaminated milk into a system which provides dairy produce to 40 countries. The Tara mine produces over 400 times more lead than Cavanacaw and has much more livestock within the vicinity. Tara also has a 25,000 population living within a mile or two of the mine. The Tara produced lead also passes directly through the centre of the town by train, so logic suggests the potential for contamination at the Tara mine dwarfs any risk at Cavanacaw. Any genuine milk activists would immediately switch their attention to the far greater risk of Tara. Stick to your nimby site if you don't like the truth, you won't find any there!
Why are you evading simple questions? What do you think tailings are? where do you think Tara put their million tonne surplus every year?
"What website? " ROFLOL! you really are a top comedian, or is it clown? it's so hard to tell the difference sometimes. "WHO CARES" So, you finally admit the stuff you published about being concerned over contamination of grazing land was just nimby scaremongery and you have absolutely no concern as to whether cows grazing around the Tara mine might provide contaminated dairy produce to 40 export countries.
