The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hedgefun, there is not one single person on this board, not one, who believes that we'll be getting anything like £374M, I doubt there is anybody left who thinks we'll even get anything from the Government. It's about time all talk of the £374M contract was taken off the table. Our route to profit lies elsewhere
I agree Computer, that's what I was getting round to, but you've put it perfectly. If ODX themselves are only hoping/expecting for revenues of £18M, then that doesn't bode well.
I'm not complaining about it, I just see that this is a COVID stock, and the current SP is based pretty much on that. If they are not able to capitlise on COVID in the next 12 months, then the price continue to go down and settle around where it was before all this madness started.
Like most on here, I'm hopeful that we can get some announcements of orders, as I'd like to see this move back up. It's only a few months since people (uber rampers) were talking about £3 a share - I think most would now be happy/surprised if we get back up towards the prices that the company Directors, who sold (in hindsight, what a warning that was) judged as being the peak
whilst not a one trick pony, I think most are aware that the other parts of the business aren't really worth a jot, and certainly don't and won't bring enough to the party to warrant anything like the sort of MCAP the company currently has.
profits of +£25M per month will soon be rolling in?
I suggest that you put that crack pipe down mate
"commencement of HMG order"
Even the most ardent rampers know that's not going to happen now, the future is elsewhere for this company
It's an ideal time for another final top up
It's an ideal time for another final top up
You're not Your.....
Who isn't bright?
It's generally worth taking anything the likes of MF or even worse Shredz, say with a pinch of salt - they have no more idea about things than most of us. I's always amazed, how holders of any share, almost wet themselves with excitement when MF or Shredz post anything
you've been saying "it's on its way" for weeks/months now......
How have you changed your tune so dramatically in just a few days - you took out a bank loan to buy more shares, took some photographs of boxes and posted them as a guarantee that big things were just about to happen......
like you, I'm just sat waiting.....
I it's clear this is a "Goods in" shipment rather than a "Goods out" shipment. Either way though, it shows that something must be happening
blubutton, I don't think it is at all, it's infuriating is what it is, I am expecting some news in the next couple of months though, I really am. As I've said several times, I don't think we'll get anywhere close to the £374M contract (and remember, it's a contract, not an order) in fact I doubt it'll happen at all, but I guess we'll find out in the next 18 months one way or another. I do think we'll get some overseas business though, and we'll soon be up around 70p as an SP, which I'd be happy enough with.
I always like it when BoJo is about to make some sort of speech, and some zoon on here says "Wouldn't it be great if he namechecked ODX later"
It's been in a dip since March....and still a long way to go to get out of it
That's the problem here, those who constantly ramp, always seem to be happy when the price is dropping, and claim it's a great opportunity to buy. So, a question for you tecbadger, would you be happy, if for the next few days the price continued to drop, and say nudged 40p?.....or even better, if it went towards 30p, would that be the best news possible?
At some point, even those who relentlessly ramp this share must question where it's actually going. It's only a few days ago some dick suggested (even though he was lying) that he was taking out a bank loan to fund further share purchases, as a rerate was guaranteed within a few days. If he had actually taken out a bank loan, I bet he'd be sweating a bit now.
I fall in and out with this share, it's so infuriating, I do believe we will get somewhere with it. The £374M contract (which some still call "an order" for some reason) isn't ever going to happen, so we need the ODX team to be pushing private and foreign sales.
As mentioned above, occasionally, some joker will claim ODX "other" products are worth the SP alone, they really are not, they'll be worth very little moving forward.
it's a brilliant SP, ask any of the rampers, they love it when it's down here, as it's another opportunity to do a final top up, before the big news drops.......
a wonderous entry/top-up SP - this is said during every dip, it was said at 80p, 70p, 60p & 50p - one day, somebody will be right
I think it's OK to be unhappy with how this stock is currently performing - not everybody invested is an ODX Happy Clapper who can only see good. If somebody is unhappy, then fair enough I reckon. They can either hold and hope it goes back up, or sell, nobody forces anybody to hold any stock.
I fully expect if/when this rises back up, that people will be selling off at 60p, 80p, 90p and 100p (if it ever gets there) as many people are quite frustrated with it.
