The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
correct, it'll take over a year before that massive pile of rubbish tests dwindles sufficiently for them to need to order more, and when they do, they'll order from China again. I don't know why anybody thinks anything different will happen
even closer to the end of Q4 now, and not a sniff of anything
Sadly, I don't see that it's ever getting back to into the 50s or 60s (certainly not for a very, very long time anyway)
I think we all new the full £374M contract (that some kept referring to as an order) wasn't going to happen, I did think we might get a small part of it though. The fact that it seems that those at ODX didn't know how to read the contract that they signed is an utter disgrace.
I know some are still hoping the HIV and the Food Allergy tests might bring something, and up until a few days ago they were saying those products alone were worth the SP that we had before the presentation. Unfortunately, the HIV and Food Allergy are worth about as much as our COVID offering, which is 2 parts of nothing.
I've backed out today, at a pretty big percentage loss, but it's my own fault for getting sucked in. I only had a smallish holding fortunately, so it won't cause me a problem, but I do feel sorry for those who have large holdings and are sat on absolutely immense paper losses at this moment in time.
Just think, it's only 3 or 4 weeks since people were wetting themselves over a picture of a pallet in a warehouse......................
Really? - what on earth are you talking about.....
It's been anywhere near £1.50, stop making stuff up
It's only few weeks I've weeks since some people were suggesting the "other products" (which we all know are pretty much worthless) justified an SP of 40p/50p.......it seems now, that even the most outrageous rampers have now realised this is a dead duck. Still, that's investing....some you win, some you lose
Shredz done some digging - he can do as much digging as he likes, he has zero credibility
I've been saying for a long time that the DHSC contract won't happen - and I find it odd that some people have until recently still been referring to it as an order...
You have some almost exploding with excitement at photographs of boxes, claiming it's absolute proof that goods are being stock piled and huge orders are imminent.
The current SP is very, very disappointing, but not massively surprising sadly.
We can only hope that something happens at some point, but the rampers talk of this being a £2.50 SP look to be a long, long way off now
a fantastic opportunity for a final, final, final, final, final, final, final top up
Why should it be £1.40?
"Constantly bashing your own investment which you don’t hold"
eh?
Once government contract is given the go-ahead, there will be an instant gap-up of 200 %
Again, another unfounded ramp - firstly, we don't know if the government contract will ever be called upon, even some of the relentless rampers concede this. Secondly, if it does happen, nobody know the value, so how can you say that "instantly" the SP will increase by 200%. I bet you're wone of those weirdos who still thinks the company has been stock piling millions of tests, but is under NDA so that's why they've not told anybody.
I bet you get excited over pictures/tweets of boxes in warehouses don't you
I've said it before - ramping like this, is every bit as bad as some of the nonsensical de-ramping that occurs
I think the title of this thread is a bit off.....
suggesting that the upcoming results are already known (and will be excellent) and so people should "buy more" - that's as blatant an unfounded ramp as I've ever seen I reckon
“The government has updated its Covid testing guidance in the run-up to Christmas, recommending that people in England take rapid lateral flow tests before going to high-risk settings" - they can recommend all they want, people still won't do it, I certainly won't decide to do one, just because I'm nipping out doing some Christmas shopping or going to a football match....unless of course they make it compulsory, which they won't
I don't know how many the government has stockpiled already, or indeed how many are actually being used on a daily/weekly basis, but I'm sure I saw a report that suggested that our current stockpiles are equivalent to around 9-10 months usage......surely that can't be right can it?
now's an ideal opportunity for a final, final, final, final, final top up........like it was at 80p, 70p, 60p & 50p
if it keeps moving like this, then I'd expect a couple of price monitoring extensions - any speeding ticket though would be viewed with much suspicion I reckon (they wouldn't dare)
Friday tomorrow - you know that means FOMO time!!
You certainly wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend!!!
still nothing happening it seems, does anybody know if/when the "new" company will appear and our shares will be given some sort of value?
Positive Blue Day.......or not, it seems
