Tulip Oil own 23% of Beacon, it was part of the deal.

I'm sure the reason for the delay is out of their hands. With Rhein Petroleum in admin, discussions must be ongoing about the license. I expect a raise rather than exit, but all depends with the behind the scene deal making. Not sure what happens with income from the wells while Rhein is in admin, also I think Beacon is not liable for Rhein debts?

Just noticed on the Chariot Linkedin site that they have listed Mariano Fernandez, a Reservoir Engineer Consultant as an employee. Not sure how long he's been there and if he is looking at onshore Loukos or Anchois. Presumably employed to calculate / estimate gas reserves?

Its destination this morning was TARRAGONA ANCHORAGE, which is just outside the port. It left the port and seems to have gone past that and stopped further up the coast.

Agreed. A couple of weeks ago OCT was the option for ENOG, and then free onwards.

I think someone commented on it last month.

I thought that share holdings above 3% need disclosure if the holding rises or falls and crosses 4, 5, 6, 7% etc?

Any way AA is not quick to notify any changes in his holding, plus his holding reduced before and increased a few months later, so who knows what his intentions are. I take it as a positive that he has not sold out completely.

AA had 7.17% at 30th April 2024, so it looks like has sold or moved a few.

Chariot have to update their website for significant shareholders every 6 months, so will have to wait till next year to see another update. Hard to say if the buying today is just traders or stake building.

I'm no expert (I would value Jimmy's opinion), but I would expect they need to re-estimate the size of the field given the thin sands found at A3 and the economics. Also how does it impact on the other anchois undrilled prospects. Neither ENOG or CHAR are known for quick decisions, but I would hope for some indication before the end of the year. Like most, I would prefer a small development, rather than another drill that could fail, but it is in the hands of the gods.

I don't think ENOG will walk away after one failed drill. Remember they farmed into more than just Anchois.

Anchois project will depend upon a number of things including gas price agreement and the re-analysis of the field. It will take time though.

For the record, I did receive a reply from IR on the FID payment:

"The partners are working to define the next steps of the project.

But, to confirm, the $15 million payment from Energean to Chariot is dependant upon a Final Investment Decision being taken and the partners electing to move ahead with the Anchois development."

I've asked them to confirm. Whether I receive a reply or not is anyone's guess!

Maybe get confirmation from Investor Relations, though my emails never get answered from them.
