Went out in Birmingham tonight. Broad Street was dead. 1 week before Christmas and restaurants were empty. Supposed to be at an El'Divo concert at the Utilita Arena. It was cancelled at very short notice. If we don't do something soon the UK will be bankrupt. Hospitality will not survive on the meagre numbers that are trying to carry on. Get vaccinated they told us this time last year, get a second jab then a 3rd. Approximately 80% of the UK vaccinated and still we have record number of infections. What HMG doing is not working. Something has got to change. As Red says in Shawshank Redemption we have to "get busy living or get busy dying" Take an accurate LFT if you're positive stay home and if your negative get on with living.

Oh no we're doomed. LOL

If I am sat next to you on an aeroplane or at a gig I do not care if you are vaccinated or not. You don't care if I am vaccinated or not. What matters is Do you have covid today and therefore can you give me covid-?
Much rather sit in a room full of people who have taken an accurate LFT that day than in a room of people where we are all fully vaccinated and can still catch and spread covid of any variant.

I mentioned it simply because our SP went down today and it is topical news in the media today. Nothing more and nothing less.

Possession is 9 tenths of the law. Lets just use it. HMG complain about what- "we lent UK diagnostics some equipment to make UK LFTs. We promised them 375m contract and then we ignored them and purchased inaccurate Chinese rubbish. We did not pay ADBDX a member of the UKRTC for the tests they supplied and they had to make UK employees redundant. We need LFTs as there is a shortage and people are dying as covid spreads.....You couldn't really make it up

The answer are decent LFTs that actually work and have the correct specificity. Vaccinated still catch and spread covid. Much rather know I am sitting next to you on the aeroplane if you have taken a LFT that day and it is negative. Not bothered really whether you are vaccinated or not as you could still have covid and can still give it to me. LFTs are relative quick to do. You could also have representatives randomly picking people for additional tests before they board to ensure they are negative and dissuade people from "cheating". Airlines need to confirm if you cannot board you can have a refund. Also needs to be in place for concerts, sports games and any or gathering. Vaccinations will not stop the spread of covid.

Lots of talk today on the news about testing before going out to a public event. We should be higher. We make LFTs in the middle of a world wide pandemic where the the world needs to test themselves using LFTs. When I invested in April 2020 I really did not expect to still be in the 40s in November 2021. When Colin mentioned his Christmas present I did not think he meant Christmas 2021. Apparently Warren Buffet said something along the lines of "it's the time in the game" I am hoping that 18 months invested in a company that manufactures LFTs in a worldwide pandemic will be time enough to see a decent return. Come on ODX!!!
