I say **** them. Let it go bust and the FCA can explain why those that were "miss sold" too now get nothing. I would rather get nothing than let some fraudulent claims company make money from me and other shareholders. Vote no and let it go bust
The only way to beat a bully is to stand up to them. NATO and Ukraine should stick 150,000 troops along the border and politely ask Putin to withdraw his troops to Moscow. Putin thinks the West will roll over and have it's belly tickled, we need to show him we won't
Not sure today has anything to do with Alba. Just about every share is down today. AIM & FTSE
BoroPaul. A reasonable question. I guess no one knows the answer but if Russia attack Ukraine and annoy the 30 countries in Nato can't see how it wouldn't affect all stocks and that includes this one. I sold some today to derisk a little and will buy back Monday if Russia don't go in over the weekend. Might lose or gain 1 or 2 % if nothing happens. If Russia attack Ukraine it will have been a good choice. If the sale RNS arrives Monday at 7:00am it will have been a bad choice. Hopefully neither occur and I buy back in with no dramas.
Golf17 property is always a good investment but remember you can no longer offset any of the interest of the mortgage payments if the property is held in personal name. Also any gain is subject to CGT and any rental income will often push people into high rate tax. There is also the cost of maintaining the property. Currently the EPC has to be an E and that is changing soon . BTL is a good long term project along with other things but is no way a "golden goose" Also with £125,000 the purchase price would be £500,000 as the the loan to value on a BTL is generally max of 75%
I just hope they do away with insisting that children over the age of 12 are vaccinated. I know lots of people who have cancelled or postponed their holidays. The parents are vaccinated but are not getting their children done.
If after a day in the job he had figured out the strategy I would be very surprised. Give it a chance.
Perhaps Colin can now become a whistle blower and uncover to the fact the HMG have done nothing to help the UK diagnostic industry, in fact they may well have hindered it. Colin was not a great CEO but the UK government made ODX and Abingdon part of the UKRTC. Most of us bought in on the "promise" we would be manufacturing LFTs for the UK and neither we nor Abingdon have received any substantial orders. The few tests the UKRTC has provided were not even paid for. Colin has gone and not before time. He is now free to tell the truth about what has happened
Good Look tecbadger with your new venture
"I've reached my limit this morning and sold out at a much lower profit than when the directors sold. I'm getting out of investing for a while as plans afoot to tie up much of my capital for the next few years."
If you are setting up a business to sell LFTs for covid testing in the middle of a worldwide covid pandemic let us know. Should be a great business. What could possibly go wrong. LOL

Thanks calderkate. I just googled. Apologies I was being lazy
Which LFT maker is in Nottingham
Initially at about 97p (ouch) averaged down and then bought some more in the placing at 25p. I still have a high average. I am in no rush just frustrating when common sense says it's a good company to buy into. That said since when has AIM been common sense.
