So Dish has a new plan, would you have preferred they stuck their 50p booking system or what do you think they should have done? Imo stick to what they were doing but up the booking fee to £1.50 per diner and also introduce collection and delivery

I agree with you about competition and lack of advertising, the big buys are splashing out in Tv adverts, dish has no resources

So why is the sp down today after this announcement?

Tanya doubt Dish are allowed to get the list, data protection.

They don't need it as the site will state the names of the restaurants participating in the scheme and Dish can contact hem after the scheme.

Businesses will need to register with the scheme before being able to offer the discount and then claim back the cash.

The refund will then been transferred into restaurants, cafes and pubs' bank accounts within five working days.

Customers will only receive the discount if they eat out at a registered business

Hungry diners will only get money off the bill if they eat out on the quietest days of the week throughout August - Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

The Eat Out to Help Out scheme won't apply on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday or Sundays.

Restaurant and pub bills will be slashed in half when you eat out help the economy bounce back from the coronavirus lockdown

PitterP. I agree the new SaaS model is only. Beneficial to the restaurants if x amount of customers are generated to cover the fee and make the extra revenue

However if a restaurant is offering all three Dine in, Delivery and collection surely from those three that should justify the fee involved?

Tanya this is what I was trying to explain to you if the new model only bring in Minimal custom if won’t justify the fees going forward it’s still needs volume

Assume just 50 restaurants sign up to the new SaaS subscription model. (54*250)*12

In 1 month alone that’s £12,500
That’s more revenue in 1 month than Dish had in 1 year last year

It’s making sense transactional/yield model is based on high volume seating, which requires high marketing spend where as SaaS model. More emphasis on the b2B, Restaurants
