In February 2019 the Company announced a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with the Matrass Group, a China based graphite mining and processing company, for high quality graphite products produced at Mahenge Liandu. This includes a proposed offtake of 30,000tpa of graphite concentrate for an initial five-year term at a price to be agreed based on the Chinese benchmark for the quality of the graphite produced, representing over 60% of average target annual production. The test work programme aimed to progress the MOU to a binding agreement is underway. Discussions with other potential offtake partners for the remaining 19,000tpa of graphite concentrate are also progressing positively. Also, the mining license should be a formality judging by our Tanzania peers.

A second offtake and/or binding offtake announcement can land anytime, Walkabout Resources had 2 updates in a week regarding offtakes, their share price has shot up ever since its approaching $80 million AUD. Just look at our peers, we're still way undervalued.

Emerging African graphite producer Walkabout Resources (ASX:WKT) is pleased to announce the execution of a second binding offtake agreement to supply premium graphite, from the Lindi Jumbo project in Tanzania. This Binding Term Sheet agrees to supply Lindi Jumbo graphite concentrate to graphite products manufacturer Qingdao Risingdawn Graphite Technology Co., Ltd, (QRGT) from China. Walkabout resources are flying.. Thats 2 binding offtakes in 7 days with Chinese partners. Acp has similar high grade graphite. Walkabout res mcap $55 million(AUD)

Another asx listed graphite company has this week announced a binding agreement with Mongolia Qianxin Graphite Co Ltd from China. 1st binding agreement for upto 20,000 ton of high quality expandable product. Agreement secures sales of up to 50% of planned annual production for first 3 years. There figures are comparable to ours imo, yet there mcap hit $53 million(USD) this week. Goes to show quality is king, Acp have a similar grade of graphite product. I see volt Resources are up 10 percent on rumours of funding. Their graphite is of a lower grade than ours, currently $29 million mcap.
