RE: I guess we could.....3 Nov 2024 08:16
GoldWish, I really don't get why you have such a massive issue with the number of shares in issue - it means absolutely nothing. All that matters in terms of an investment is the Market Cap... In this case Β£7.2m. It would have fair to say that sub penny shares are typically not favoured by certain types of investors, and I'd expect to see a 100:1 consolidation at some stage.
It's interesting to see that all of a sudden we've had an influx of derampers on the board. That usually means people are looking for an entry point.
The story here hasn't changed. Immediate risk of a fundraise or further loan, granted. Then you have to ascertain if you believe the Cambay project will generate significant revenues for Selan/SYN. Then you have a material chance of development on either CCS project.
At a Β£7m mcap, and with Cambay predicted to be generating Β£14m revenue on an annualised basis for Synergia by the end of CY25 - with NO related costs (i.e. all revenue is profit)... I see a Β£7m mcap as potentially very profitable.
The decline of the SP here is purely down to poor communication and PR, the growing risk of a fundraiser (though I don't think it'll be for much), and the overall state of the AIM market currently.
Most long term holders have held this for years - what's another 3/6/12 months!
