I am speaking for myself and no one else...... That's why i said each to their own. I have no problem with investors here waiting another 10 years or more. I have served my apprenticeship here and done rather well over the past few years. As perviously mentioned solgold has been my best share in 10 years of trading.

If we were having this conversation a few years ago I would be agreeing with you 100% to aim for the sky and get top money for a top resource. The game has changed here now and we seem to be stopping and starting on a regular basis due to lack of funds.

I admire your positivity and hope you are absolutely right on being more patient and gaining the ultimate prize.

I have a very simple view that this resource is too big for Solgold and the share price reflects this. I hope we get a bidding war at some point in the future. I just personally feel that i will give this another 12 months then move on.

I don't doubt for a moment that there are astute firms investing here and they understand the value of the asset in the ground ......That's why i invested myself another 20k worth this morning.
When I reflect back over the last 10 yrs here and see how much progress we have made in revealing the potential of an ever growing resource the current share price does not reflect all of that work.
The issue I see here is the more companies- partners get involved the more likelyhood this will go to Sh@t@

"Too many cooks spoil the broth" I think longtermers having giving this a good number of years I can't see them hanging about for another 10 years, but each to their own.

I hope we get some fireworks here soon before the AGM to get the share price back to respectable levels.

just my thoughts........

I remember the good old days when Solgold just seemed to go up and up! .....I remember this forum buzzing with excitement of share price estimates of £1, £2 , £3 and so on .... Some of investors here had spent the money in their heads with ideas of super yachts and the Gucci car, Holiday homes etc.
Those dreams are only that for me now, dreams....40p-50p within the next 12months would suit me fine.
I can't be bothered with the ever constant fund raise issues and the bad blood -squabbling between Solgold BOD and the Majors.
To be fair, I don't trust BHP or NCM or others to do the right thing by the small share holders and expect they will shaft us at some point with an low ball offer of what i've mentioned above .
This journey has to end some day and the sooner this is handed over to the big players, the sooner we can rest easy and move on. (Otherwise we a flapping every few months trying to raise funds just to keep our head above water.)

finally, as for going to Production I just don't see it.

This company is worth more than 18.5p ! The shenanigans with the Majors will be resolved eventually.

BHP appear to be in no rush to resolve our current financial issues and are happy to see our share price drop further as they can then buy the company cheaper at a later stage.

This constant money raise issue is not going away and it's all getting a bit tedious now .

I would be happy for takeover sooner rather than later.

Can anyone help with the following?

let's just say there is a buyer in the background ......With so many parties involved and holding large chunks of solgold, how is the sale or part sale resolved ?

for example if BHP wanted cascabel how do they buy it ? what is the process of keeping shareholders happy?Do they just say offer 50p and if the majority agree they are able to force it through even if some share holders don't agree and want a higher price?

This all appears to be a bit of a mess.

For what it's worth I don't blame people for trading this share..... I would rather see steady gains, steady news and a steady pair of hands at the helm.......(it's not happening here at the moment)
