I had a different account years ago and they did the same then. Is proper weird seeing as there would be better stocks to short currently. But I enjoy the mental sh*te that get's posted on here, even if it does clog up the board.

Of course it could go lower, just better plays out there. And as I pointed out aim, you've pretended to short and the price has risen on many an occasion. Then when questioned, you've pretended that you closed the short and have gone long.

Aim, stop pretending you're shorting. Seen countless times when you've "shorted", magically closed with a profit when the sp has risen and then you are "long" the very next day.

Capita is so low, it's not one to short, loads of better options out there.

However, I do agree with the bit about headwinds, too many false dawns.

Yeah 4 weeks would be ok. Slight fall in futures, but nothing much. This isn't really going to be a big deal, what is a big deal is Capita producing good results without the "one off impairments" that have hampered it previously.

Only 60p which is nothing, was around that in 2021 when this really was in the sh*t. It is interesting that the words "conservative assumptions" are used as that's seeing 900p as the bear minimum. But Capita has flattered to deceive on so many occasions, so let's wait and see.

All jokes aside, this ship has been a joke to turn around but surely it has to be getting closer? Just above old money 20p which is utterly insane. That's still pricing cpi to go bankrupt. Have to see if Canaccord's prediction comes true:

Indeed, my post wasn't to slate Capita as I would obviously like to see a rise. Just hasn't been great customer service from the little bit I saw. But Capita need to show good numbers in a few days time, has been jam tomorrow for far too long.

Aim, calm down. There will probably be a dip, but this was expected, won't cause much long term damage to the market. FTSE at record highs, a slight retraction won't harm. Bitcoin has bounced back a bit slightly, you were shorting that weren't you?

The pension is the jewell in the crown, but a fair way to get through the mess I reckon. I know some civil servants, one retired and their lump sum wasn't paid and another was on hold for a ridiculous amount of time just to get to speak to someone. But as Canaccord said, they see the Pension Solutions as "solid mid-single-digit growth outlook and mid-teens margins". Appreciate only 2 people, but we all know about the backlog. If it is sorted, Cpi at last should be making some in roads. Has been very disappointing over the last few years, so it's deffo a "wait and see".

Ignore the noise, solid results. Well on the way to fcf. Group revenue up 12.1%, group adjusted EBIDTA £178m (FY24: £112m). Ocado Retail also doing well. Debt very manageable, good liquidity etc. 1000 job cuts will save huge £££ on wages. Shows Ocado is on the right path. The stock is volatile and susceptible to changes in inflation, so with inflation falling, that should help the sp. Futher site closures could (and rightly so) decimate the sp, so this is still fairly high risk compared to some stocks, but results today have actually surpassed expectations.

Aim, you don't know how to invest. You pretend to short and chuck "imho" on everything. It's amusing and you're prob on a wind up, but if not, you've proven time and time again that you're clueless.

Agree Pokerchips, it's "wait and see" with this one. It is a stock that should also hopefully rise with inflation falling. But the recent site closures are what concern me the most.
