When is the next reshuffle to see who stays in the ftse and who joins? My understanding is that we will stay being traded in the ftse 350 pretty much irrelevant of what the market cap is at the time of the reshuffle? I'm guessing that's because certain II's wernt allowed to invest in us when we on the AIM so had to wait until we were promoted so presumably we couldn't be moved off the ftse as not sure how they would be able to stay invested if we were no longer being traded in the ftse? Anyone who knows any answers to the above questions your input would be most appreciated. Thanks

I agree Doubleheadedcoin, as soon as there is any indication that finance is secured then I would expect the sp to jump back into the teens at least, confident that it be be very soon, before the end of November, when the co will get the finance finally sorted as I'm sure they want everything running smoothly again before Xmas, seems like the BOD have had informal discussions in the past with the big players in the past but now they will have to enter into official negotiations to secure a deal.

We know that sentiment and by extension sp's can turn around very quickly. it seems like the BOD is in talks with some very big players, obviously fortescue is mentioned, they clearly would be a logical partner for our project to move forward in my opinion. GLA LTH's

Great share 50rrell, alot of the people interviewed are now part of the SXX team delivering our mine so going by what they achieved previously when they were at fortescue together I'm not surprised that they seem as confident as they do, different products sure but still the same idea of building a huge project and delivering for the community with jobs and for us shareholders. Would be nice if in time the sp performs as it has with fortescue, will have to wait and see and be patient but defiantly wouldn't rule it out with the team we have delivering this amazing project!

Just listened to the conference call and from what was said I feel that the drop from 10p to where the sp is now is a major overreaction imo, obviously time will tell if that is the case but having now listened to the call I'm not anywhere near concerned as a couple of days ago when the hysteria on here and in the press was at it's peak, fortunately it does seem to have calmed down now and people are starting to realise that it is still highly likely that the project will still be completed more or less on time and within budget.

I think that the sp will settle in the 5-10p range until news then presuming the news confirms that the finance is sorted then just the fact that the finance has finally been secured and everything is on track for first poly in 2021 then the sp should move back to 20p + at least but of course that is dependant on the finance being raised.

It did seem from the call that the profile of the company has risen over the last few months which in turn has brought interest from new investment avenues and as CF stated moving away from JPM and all of the conditions that they attached could actually mean that by going in a different direction the co and shareholders could end up with a more favourable deal so all in all it is most defiantly not all doom and gloom and in effect the company has taken the sensible approach of re-accessing the best way to move forward with a up to maximum 6 month delay, Iv'e been waiting patiently for 6 years now so another 6 months will fly by.

Any I think LTH's are still in safe hands and still expect that investors who paid 50p in August 2016 will quite possibly see there holding in profit at some point within the next 2 years.

Hi Funky, sounds like you have a great family which is something money can't buy so you're lucky in a sense.

I don't have a wife or a husband or significant other to tell fortunately or unfortunately which ever way you look at it so really only have to deal with my own thoughts.

I'm not going to lie, have had a banging headache since the news hit on Tuesday and not been sleeping too great but am feeling more positive today after realising that it isn't all doom and gloom as the trolls on here would like you to believe and in time the finance should be sorted and everything will be back on track for first poly in 2021.

I'm sure you will recoup your losses else where anyway so I wouldn't be too concerned mate.

Excellent decision at this point to save as much money as possible then once the finance is secured they can be brought back on site and resume works, this suggests to me that the BOD will be attempting to sort out the finance within a matter of weeks as opposed to months as obviously the longer anything is slowed down the longer any delay will be.

Good to see the BOD taking quick, concise action, I really getting the feeling that they are determined to sort of this finance issue once and for all asap as the construction side of things seems to be going amazingly well. Well done BOD.

according to the article below, guess the company will have to exhaust every other avenue before the gov step in to save the jobs though, always a nice option to have in the background should it be required, as CF stated in the CC, talks are still ongoing with the gov, it just seems that there are a few areas they need to iron out perhaps once the BOD sit down with them again after they have tried other alternative avenues:

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been invited to Scarborough for crisis talks over the future of the Sirius Minerals polyhalite mine.

The Labour leader of Scarborough Borough Council, Cllr Steve Siddons, has written to the Prime Minister urging him to take immediate action to secure the future of the company and its polyhalite mine outside Whitby.

Cllr Siddons said: “I have written to Boris Johnson today inviting him to a meeting with myself, Government Ministers, Local MPs Robert Goodwill, Anna Turney and Simon Clarke, Teesside Mayor Ben Houchen and Sirius to discuss how the Government can support this vital project, ensuring it delivers the prosperity and well-paid jobs so urgently needed in the area.”

Yesterday, Sirius announced it had cancelled plans to raise $500m (£403m) through a bond sale and blamed “market conditions”, including Brexit and lack of Government support for the decision.

It will now undergo a six-month review of four different options for a new financing plan to resume the project.

Its share price plummeted in response to the news and raised doubts over the future of the Woodsmith mine project under the North York Moors National Park, which had promised to create more than 1,000 jobs.

Cllr Siddons said he now wants the Prime Minister to show he is committed to the North and save the project.

He added: “Boris has spent much of the last couple of weeks touring the Northern heartlands recognising the devastation caused by years of austerity and lack of investment. It’s time for him to put his money where his mouth is and ensure this project delivers on its promise to the people of North Yorkshire.

“This project has the potential to grow the North Yorkshire economy by 17%, provide a £2.3 billion annual contribution to UK GDP, as well as providing significant benefits locally, including the creation of circa 1,000 direct high-value jobs within the area and an estimated 1,500 further jobs within the local supply chain.

“This project is central, not only to the future of the borough, but to the future of the wider North Yorkshire and Teesside regions in terms of economic growth and prosperity, but in providing a platform for raising aspiration and social mobility within our communities.

“Additionally, thousands of local investors have supported this project with their hard-earned savings, putting faith in Sirius to deliver
