Aurora and now TYK229 Apr 2020 00:31
ICR have had and still have an aurora flt available to license for maybe 2 or 3 years. Ours is the 10/10 mice with formulation issues, so was briefly sidelined. In comes COVID , suddenly the Chinese want it, and say they will resolve those formulation issues within a narrow time frame and begin testing/trialling lots of those molecules we have given them license for.
A bit of kudos over the ICR.
Now Sir Tim et al , as one would expect, are shouting about our TYK2 loud and proud, as it’s clearly viable in the current climate to be pushed forward with speed. We await news.
CHK1, was licensed by Pronai, as their DDR which Nick Glover had been banging the drum fell short, and they realised they needed a chk1 inhibitor. The trial is still ongoing as there are patients still on the medication feeling the benefit and not dying. As Sir Tim started in his interview , it’s ethically and morally correct to continue the trial.
Sit back and relax, look for a house in Wiltshire, Peru, Mexico, etc to live in, to pass the time of course :)
Love peace and harmony.
