interesting post...forgive the impertinence/ignorance, but why do you and others maintain pf in Zim?...are there effective capital controls?

rbn is a good LT play imv...so anywhere between 1/4 - 3/4 in here @c£2 makes sense imv ...the 2q figures were weak.. and I don't know enough about the competitive space or rbn's negotiating power (in Porter Framework type analysis ...versus the struggling supermarkets, say) to flip back now ...but I will almost certainly flip back later this year... and then add more than my 3k max holding so far ...I would estimate I am only 15-20% fully loaded here with a modest 1350 shares.....measured relative to my other major holdings (c£15-20k). .....I had always hoped to add more in retraces to 80-90p & then 120-150p regions earlier..and the sp never allowed me to do more than play catch up ...even now I'd be surprised by major retrace...unless market position is weak and profitability squeezed more and/or acquisition doesn't bed down well

@70p..only 1250@53.xp..hold c4k shares now and may well add on strengthening newsflow ... the EV/gross profit is low... ...and the placing was at an ok price...small, mind...which is either poor forward planning...or sign of confidence imv

if you ignore the conflict...mcap similar to current assets minus all liabilities and one years cashflow (albeit the money disappears into kit) ....perhaps they are being cautious re reserves

we have had the discussion before...but the mcap here is not the measure of value cos of the huge debts ...agree there is plenty of upside but the wipe out risks are huge ...I may be back at option pricing c2p...if I have the guts lol

difficult to decipher..if £250k from half year disappearing...that is whopping 60% of EBIT ...with such limited visibility provided to poor PIs, the sp deserves to go much lower imv... single figures ... ....not least for history now of poor communication...try to DYOR...gl .. t/o and change of attitude/management needed in my humble opinion
