don't know about costs...
...here the payment on 31st Dec looks v tight and there is little visibility on B2B's true profit level (this surge in Sept is a little off-putting..wonder who the customer was? unconnected to the seller of B2B I presume...just how variable is this business?? )
...crooked tie is worst of all world...get it off
?
We get used to thinking in terms of what has happened
..oil was key to the 20th C and OPEC an interesting phenomenon
...but OPEC and technology and the green revolution have sowed the seeds of oil's demise
...the future is quite likely challenging for the oil price as the prospect of renewable transportation options forces the Saudis to pump for all they are worth (rational if you expect oil to become substituted)
...leaving oil in the ground losing value is daft
...Jolly opinion only
small oillies are in the process of becoming out of the money options on higher oil prices 2016 onwards imv
...how long might they survive wti @40 is key q investors/punters need to have in mind?
as ever excellent posts..hope all well with you...I obviously agree with yr points re diversification.. also with yr caution
..perhaps this is finally the start of a fairly serious correction (10-30%) cos the bull is tired after 5 years+, and the policy stimulus drug taking has become a dangerous habit... and the market may come to see that kicking this alluring habit will cause painful cold turkey
...(but I have wrongly called the start of the mythical correction several times over the past 2 years)
...cos I am bearish, I am fairly heavily weighted to cash (even more heavily weighed down by property but that's another matter)
... so my liquid asset allocation is roughly: 70% cash 5% oddities (weird VCTs lol) and only 25% aim and ftse
lke pog, hgm took on plenty of debt to expand...and that is a serious challenge here now imv
...the EV has not collapsed...just the market value of the junior component of the capital structure...the shares lol
i punted a few hundred @8.5p, but shd have resisted
.. not looking to av down.
..prefer to buy into news led sp strength esp re BoD buying big or significant return of capital (even if only share buyback)
