Surprised lithium miners are suffering at all given the situation in Afghanistan where it's expected China will move in and nab the massive lithium deposits there. This will only make lithium plays in the west even more valuable.
Holding up well today compared to others in this sector. Surprised lithium miners are suffering at all given the situation in Afghanistan where it's expected China will move in and nab the massive lithium deposits there. This will only make lithium plays in the west even more valuable.
Whilst i agree with you that MM manipulation is often exaggerated, i do think it was justified this morning. The sp also mysteriously recovered most of it's losses with little buying. Anyway In my experience on AIM the biggest nonsense are the chartist predictions. Wholly inaccurate most of the time, Zak Mirs is a particular culprit.
Well said Twohits. Ridiculous to think that such a small amount of shares could have such an effect. Most days 500k of shares are sold and bought. They may not even sell all of them, maybe not any.
Todays trading doesn't logically relate to an 8% drop but it's AIM and the MM's have free range to play their manipulation games. As someone else posted it's high time ZNWD moved from AIM to a less volatile market befitting it's status.
Very impressive interview, no hype and stated the obvious facts that make this an outstanding investment.
Must have cost a bob or two though to get Ray Winstone's cousin asking the questions.
Traded on the Aquis market also. You may see your missing trades reported here:

They look like an ISA transfer to me.
Good posts Dropadollar. But why didn't they raise money with PI's who wouldn't be selling for such a small profit given the PLL news or raise with II's and lock them in for a year?
Markets down in general across the world, junior miners keep getting hit, and those damn placing shares still getting sold!
I can't believe investors are holding off until the deal is ratified, it's pretty much a given. Wouldn't think the demerger is holding this back either but you never know.
In fact there have been plenty of buyers and some very large ones. Unfortunately they have been balanced by large sells. In all his interviews since the Piedmont announcement Vince professes to be bewildered at the lack of sp rise, knowing full well it's the placing shares being flipped that is holding it back. Why don't the interviewers at least suggest it as the reason? Would like to see Vinnies reaction.
The II's who bought the placing shares for 20p back in April is the answer. Flipping them for a 10% profit is the name of their game. Eventually they will all be gone and the sp will quickly rise to new highs.
Stop talking to yourself, it's embarrassing!
What do you wish to know about Zinnwald?
Why is the sp falling and now 25% below it's recent highs?
Why was half the project only worth 8.8 million Euros?
Why hasn't a VW or another German car manufacturer funded a JV?
Will Ganfeng buy it out for peanuts like it did Bacanora?
The large majority of the lithium is over the border and not owned by ZNWD.
You said pretty much the same thing 2 days ago including 'Most investors don’t want to sit on ‘dead’ money for 4 yrs.' Yet you say you are invested in IRR meaning you do want to sit on dead money for 4 years? You need to raise your game, you are a rubbish deramper!
Went to watch the tennis about 14:00, safe in the knowledge (hope) the sp around 8p and looking to rise. WTF happened? Did the sell off coincide with the US markets opening?
Ojay is right, it's AIM, anything goes but boy sure is disappointing.
Almost a million shares were purchased in a handful of trades around 16:00 and yet the sp never budged. That is difficult to explain.
That's over 14 months ago! They have had ample opportunity to sell those 7p shares at a good profit since then including for a 400% profit when the sp touched 28p back in January.
Absolutely nothing to do with the demerger or unrest in Chad.
Look at the trades. Decent buying followed by large sells. Not PI's selling for profit as Vinnie suggested in the interview with Zak Mirs but the II's he placed with back in April taking their 10% profit. That's what these II's do, they never keep hold of them for potential larger profits in the future, they are happy just to get a 10% profit. That's how they make money and easy money it is too.
Vinnie has been around long enough to know this but didn't want to admit it in the interview. Was that placing needed, if so why not stop them selling for a year? The sp should be in the 30's, maybe 40's on the Piedmont deal but 45m shares are a lot to shift. Momentum lost, let's hope the sp still rerates when the placing shares have finally gone.
