Myoh, Links below. Doesn't matter what you think. CFO mentioned below.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-09/disney-very-pleased-with-mulan-but-doesn-t-release-numbers
Disney was supposed to reveal Mulan PVOD collection in earnings call yesterday but didn't reveal the figures.
What does this tell us?
Would you want to hide the figures if it was a great success?
You would just want to save the face by not telling anything because the figures were so low.
Initially the CFO said they would reveal the data on 12 Nov, now they say they will reveal on 10 Dec. It looks like they made peanuts. Anybody thinking PVOD is the future think again. You don't want to be as embarrassed as Disney.

"WE strongly believe in the future of cinema" – a senior figure at a big screen chain has revealed his optimism for the industry despite the pandemic.
Major chain Vue will open a new multiplex in Glasgow city centre at the start of 2021.
The opening is scheduled for the first quarter of the year and a long lease will hook Vue into the facility for 20 years.
The nine-screen facility will be part of a new £40 million leisure development at the St Enoch Centre mall, which opened in 1989 and has a footfall count of 20m a year.
Around 40 picturehouse jobs are promised, with three of the screens to offer 3D viewing. All seats will be recliners and touchscreens will be installed for customers seeking snacks.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/25/hopes-rise-for-approval-of-coronavirus-vaccine-by-end-of-this-year
Hopes are rising that a coronavirus vaccine will be approved by the end of the year, with healthcare workers receiving their first dose in early 2021.
Dr Anthony Fauci, the US’s leading expert in infectious diseases, said on Sunday it should be known by the end of November or early December if a vaccine was safe and effective.
The Irish government added to the growing optimism that a vaccine would soon be available.
“I’m increasingly optimistic, as is government, that we will see a vaccine approved in the next couple of months and that in the first half or first quarter of next year it’ll be possible to start vaccinating those most at risk,” Leo Varadkar, Ireland’s deputy prime minister, who is also a doctor, told RTE radio on Sunday.
Fauci’s remarks came after a report that the NHS in the UK is preparing to start immunising frontline staff with a vaccine within weeks. The Mail on Sunday published a memo by Glen Burley, the chief executive of a group of hospitals in the Midlands, in which he said NHS care providers had been told to be prepared to start a Covid-19 staff vaccine programme in early December.
“The latest intelligence states a coronavirus vaccine should be available this year with NHS staff prioritised prior to Christmas,” according to Burley’s message, which was sent earlier this month, the paper reported.

After the theatrical release of No Time To Die got pushed for the fourth time, will the makers of the James Bond film give up on waiting for the pandemic to go away and instead premiere on a streaming service? Despite reports that originated with a Bloomberg scoop yesterday, sources say an emphatic no. Bloomberg wrote about a rumor that has been making the rounds the last week and a half, that MGM offered the film to streamers Netflix, Apple and Amazon for a proposed one year license of $600 million. Exploratory dialogue between MGM and streamers did happen late September, when MGM decided to move the Bond film out of its Thanksgiving slot. The studio and Eon also considered doing a PVOD deal, like the one Disney did with Mulan, charging viewers directly. But Deadline hears none of the streamers was willing to put up more than half the amount asked for the one year license. More importantly, Deadline hears that James Bond franchise principal producer Barbara Broccoli flatly nixed the deal but the whole thing was an exploration, understandable with everyone weary of waiting on a likely billion dollar revenue event expected to happen a long time ago.
Pfizer providing vaccine data on 27 October.
Preparation is only done if a company knows that their vaccine is working. Buy before 27 October as Pfizer is going to release vaccine data otherwise it is too late. GLA DYOR

Planes, trucks and ultracold boxes: Pfizer preps massive COVID-19 vaccine distribution effort
As Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine comes into the home stretch on the R&D side, the drugmaker is scaling up an ambitious supply chain and distribution system aimed at delivering hundreds of millions of doses around the world as quickly as possible.
The system centers on distribution sites in Kalamazoo, Michigan and Puurs, Belgium, where the company will load reusable, temperature-controlled containers on a total of two dozen trucks per day, the Wall Street Journal reports. The company plans to ship 7.6 million doses daily to nearby airports.
The sheer size of the effort is complicated further by the fact that Pfizer's mRNA-based shot must be stored at almost 100 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. To make that happen, the company designed suitcase-sized shipping containers that will keep its doses at ultracold temperatures for up to 10 days. Each container holds between 1,000 and 5,000 doses, the newspaper reports.

CASH-strapped cinemas will be given a lifeline by allowing juries to follow cases on the big screen under new plans.
Their screens would be hired by courts to clear the backlog of cases.
