Laidback, I believe Cinema are already open in San Francisco. In the below link if you put county and activity (movie theatres) it shows san francisco is open 25% capacity.

Yesterday's RNS stated 200 US cinemas are closed but that data was from the time of compiling the RNS, just checked that 15 more have opened since and 185 left to open in US. New york is the key to studios releasing the movies, and it will open in the next two weeks as they cannot keep them close forever.
