The next piece of dividend in October would normally be 3.6p, can we expect this to be cut and announced at the 30th july 1/2 yr results ? Surely they won't annouce that they intend to pay a another year of dividend at 12p will they ?
I think that even a cut to a total of 8p a year will make the share price rise back to 120 / 130p, still a 6.66% to 6.15% yield.

I own shares in PSN / BDEV and TW and I don't plan to sell any at the moment. I have just received my TW special dividend in account today and would of bought BDEV if they hadn't jumped 50p since Monday. With this move now I think the biggest gain is going to come in PSN and TW. I am hoping for 190p+ in TW this year and then I will sell a few. I have just bought a few extra TW this morning. PSN I will hold till price is north of £25.

Oh I understand that you was calling the P/E - per. I know P/E but have never heard it called per before.
Where did you see the Friday close price of 1997 ? I see it as 1922.

How is it going to cost £350 million to put Fire breaks in 3500 houses ? That is £100,000 per house. I think you slipped up on the calculation

Last year Barratt rose from 485p on the 5th July to 559p on the 10th October. Ex-dividend was 11th October. A gain of 74p. it was actually at a higher price though a few weeks before the ex-divi at 578p. It dropped 60 odd pence on ex-divi day. I think this year I will be looking to sell some of my Barratt in the days or weeks leading up to ex-divi day. I am hoping for 600+p

Has TW indicated at all how much the next dividend will be in October ? last year on 4th October (ex-divi) it was 2.44p

After looking at the years highs and lows I agree PSN is the most undervalued, BUT when will we see that true value with all the bad press. PSN seems to be getting the most bad press. Without all the bad press it is easily worth £25

Barratt only 8% off 52 week high SP..... Taylor Wimpey 21% off 52 week high SP..... PSN a huge 31% off 52 week high SP.

Yes I understand that PSN has the lowest P/E of the 3 builders we are talking about and it also has the most money in the bank. But what is going to turn the share price round and back upto £25+ where the the SP should probably be ?

TakingMyTime, why should Barratt only have a core value of 550p ? it was 627p in April. The 35p dividend is over 3 months away, I don't think it is built in yet, 580p today, I think 600 to 620p by ex-dividend day. I sometimes do sell a day or 2 before the ex day.

But isn't Barratt a better buy ? with ex-dividend for Final and a special dividend coming in October totaling about 35p, current share price has been rising this last week from 557p and is now 589p.
Next ex-dividend day for PSN isns't till 5th March next year, 8 months away.
