Do we know that Serica have definitely bid for these assets?

Thanks very much for the reply - much appreciated.
There appears to be another leg up in the share price this morning.

Now that we have the US listing fully up and running am I right in saying that Burford now has to release results/ updates on a quarterly basis. If so, when should we receive the results for Q1 of this year?
Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance.
John
Expect some M&A news in the next few months according to the CEO!
Keep Safe everybody!
Are you Serious?
Patience will reward the Brave.
Keep the Faith and you will be rewarded.......this is a slow burner and it will take time to hit the radar screens across in the US.
The Ticker for Burford on the NYSE is also BUR.
For any investors who deal through Davy in Dublin they have also confirmed to me that CREST is the default platform option and that all of their clients who own Burford need not take any action unless they wish to transition to NYSE.
I do believe that this NYSE duel listing will be the making of Burford but it will be a long term ride. I was a bit concerned that initially there was talk of listing on the NASDAQ which i thought was not suitable at all and which caters for Tech companies and thus can be a very volatile place to be.
Best of luck to all who hold.
There is no such price of £9.50p or £11.50p.
Its either £9.50/ £11.50 or 950p/ 1150p......take your pick
I'll take the 1150p.....ha ha
All Resolutions passed comfortably!
I guess no further barriers to the US listing.
RNS issued at 16.27......just at close of business on LSE.
Lets see what the markets think tomorrow!
I see the Prospectus has just been published by way of a RNS.
Enjoy the read.
All the Best
Johnny
My understanding is that the Prospectus for the proposed transfer of our Listing from AIM to the Main Market was due to be published today.
Am i correct?
If so I cannot see a RNS for it.
Does anybody have any current imfomation on this?
Regards to All
Johnny
Fib
Point taken.....you are indeed correct.

"Is the 6th Dec the closing date for bids to be submitted?"
Yes, Friday 6th December is the day according to Jefferies.
It is hard to think that UK tax losses be allowed to be offset against gains on the sale of Zama. Whether Premier will receive any tax offset in the UK for taxes paid in Mexico on the sale of Zama will be determined by any UK/Mexico double taxation treaty if one does exist.
Also note that there is a difference between capital gain taxes and regular income taxes.

The December edition of the Momentum Investor states that Jefferies has a value of $413m on Zama and that bids are open on 6th December. Additionally they have price target of 160p on Premier.
You can add my 250,000 shares for a No vote!
.....and you all think that Brexit is going to solve all your problems?
??????????
Burford has achieved an awful lot in the last ten years since it was incorporated. However in that time it has kept with the same board of directors. These corporate governance changes announced yesterday will help propel Burford on to a much higher level entirely, especially if Burford acquires a NYSE listing. This will bring its own challenges for the board and management but I'm sure they are very capable people.
The recent upheavals will allow true LTH's a chance to average down.
On Wed I increased my modest share holding from 500 shares to 2,000 shares and now have an average buy price of circa £11.
I will continue to hold this share and expect it to get back to £20 levels last seen only a year ago. However this will take time and people need to be patient.
