Dunno? Barx still showing my original holding - at the moment I'm ex-div 6th Feb but iw ould have expected to have seen post-consolidtation and a smaller holding..... so my PF hasn't been adjusted. On current SP performance I'd say I'm slightly up the deal. Applying GCSE mathematics, if I'd want to enjoy the 160p per share solely as a divi which did not adversly affect the SP - then after consolidation and based upon Friday's SP of 290p - I'd need to see a new SP of about 725p.

Shares have been re-issued on a 13:33 basis . You will also have 160p for each of your 2000 'old' CNE shares which will be paid into your account on 14th Feb (ish). Whilst you hold less CNE shares .... you will find that you will be recieving £3200 in cash for your troubles.

Not ISA -able ...yet. Not too sure why I have this funny idea that CNR, if it can't get on the radar screen in UK may consider TSX. The closest producer to CNR in Nicaragua is B2Gold. Canadian and therefore TSX listed. I'm not sure what the pro's /con's of a dual listing would be. CNR is a burner of cash and not a revenue generator so not sure what could be gained by dual listing. certainly no tax advantage as there is no income. Hardly RDSA/B *lol*

AMER has been a surprise find - juniorn oillee up 25% and resource upgrade yet to be announced. RDSA and RDSB are in the doldrums so a double drain on progress. BEM has lifted but is still 10% short of start price. 4th Mogo: + 3%: Still in the Goodwin Suite! NYO now challenging for hot pick place. BEM is still the VPF stinker! Check the quarterly updates from late 2010 thru 2011 to see how CI revenues have increased - also CI to improve production through 2012...even though CNE have a reduced 22% holding ...the increase in production should commpensate for the smaller holding - you will have to DYOR on that. CNE revenues - assumming they keep 22% CI should be robust enough to fund exploration. IMO market has written off Greenland - however CI have had a decent gas strike in Sri Lanka and CNE have assets in the Med and also a large pile of cash to spend. There may be better oillees out there .... but if you don't need the cash in a hurry why not stick with CNE? HL - bloody plonkers...no wonder there has been a finacial crisis ....can't even read an RNS can they? CNE went through a similar exercise in the mid noughties once they realised they had struck pay dirt in India. CI was formed from CNE. I can't recall precisely the nature of the deal .... but it was cash and a re-issue of a smaller number of shares. Those new shares soon rose and in old money the current SP of 287 would in fact be 2870. So, look at CNE being pruned back .... maybe it is a startegy to remain an independent explorer as opposed to a vulnerable mid table utility ripe for take over? Then again WTFDIK !

A quick mid-week scan indicates no significnat change....although KAZ is catching TYM for 2nd place in most imporved SP....P'dog is well ahead with RWD so far!

I've been watching RRR over the past 9 months .....then again.....not every day a pot of cash appears in the PF so no harm in keeping it there.....unless I go mental on BEM/CNR!!!!!!

Ahhh.. a good question..... production from El Limon should improve and so should revenues....in addition, they have discovered a large magnetic anomaly in Greenland which has the similar characteristics to the Mary River Project. They have sdome excellent opportunities with IO in Aus and Greenland ...which is more of a long shot....also a good opportunity with the gold tailings projects in Kenya.... and ......just a hunch....I feel lucky *lol*

I see AGQ is continuing to show signs of life! ....still a long way to go to breakeven. It is now 13 trading days until I get the CNE divi in the account (I think) .....so I may dive into RRR on Friday 10th ...provided it doesn't go stratospheric *lol*
