WBAFC What privision does your practice cureently have in place for testing?

What do your practice and others have in place for the coming winter season to differentitate between covid and flu?

A lot on here were sucked in by a poster called bigbench. With his 18,000 posts and his constant top ups I think some thought he knew what what he was talking about. £3 by Christmas he said. It's only a loss if you sell, waiting for the seller to be out they said, waiting for the yanks, you get the picture!

It is a total sickener to see the amount of tests being carried out and the additional revenue that NCYT have missed out on due to the dispute.

When you look at the monthly spending from the DHSC and the cash that the likes of Abbott and Thermo Fisher, Randox to name but 3 are raking in, it is mind blowing.

Who knows where the SP would be if everything had been rosy in the garden but possibly even Porky's prediction may have come true.

Zimbabwe tender win

Following completion of a formal evaluation of the Primerdesign COVID-19 test by the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe and a successful tender process, Zimbabwe's Ministry of Health and Child Care has awarded Primerdesign with a contract for the supply of 1.5 million tests. Outside the UK, this is the largest contract secured by Novacyt to date. The initial purchase order for the first 500,000 tests has been received and will be shipped immediately. The remaining one million tests will be shipped over the coming weeks.

ODX - up 30% on no news and holding steady at present
AVCT - up 30% on no news and holding/rising slightly at present

NCYT - up 21% on "news" but giving away the gains day after day!

Rinse repeat. Doesn't help when you get the traders like gggg21 ramping it to high heaven then disappearing as soon as their exit point arrives.

Well over a hundred grands worth of sales went through between 1pm and 1.36pm so hopefully your purchase will turn things around :-)
