At present the waters are very muddy. Would you enter in to a massive contract with a firm that was in a major dispute with their biggest Client? Not knowing what the cause of the said dispute was or whether it will have any implications for others. I certainly wouldn't risk it unless they were giving the tests away.

The reason I ask is that permission for a new private hospital has been given to be created in Aberdeen.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the dispute.? Would you really want to be buying from a company knowing there is a major issue with their biggest partner but you are not sure what the issue is?
