Have to admit, BT winning the ECL was a great deal for them, together with the EPL games they screen, they are on the up but still, IMO, a good way from overtaking Sky.

Probably a bit late here but basically China's gone tits up and is dragging almost everyone with them.

Not a great reaction to the results, SP taking a bit of a hammering but I'm here long term, so the increase in divi is most welcome.

Makes interesting reading Colbats, I've got interest in both esure and Adm, I'm a big fan of the divis :-)

Isn't their dividend due to be paid today?

Happytom, I am in deed a huge GEMD fan and I can't, for one moment, understand their recent drop. I did not read their latest statement the way the market did.......was I missing something? As for PRG, I'm hugely, and I mean hugely, optimistic for their future :-)

Nice increase yesterday. All going according to plan. I'm hoping for more increases as we get nearer to their February diamond sale date.

Bought into CGL at 509 but it's my smallest holding. GLA, hope you're all quids in after today's big increase.

surely there won't be much left in the pot to bid for the premiere league - My thoughts exactly. I'm sure Sky will submit a huge winning bid, which may impact on their short term profits (apparently a 50% increase on their last winning bid will see a 12% impact on forecasts), but long term, and especially if they can do in Europe what they've done in the UK, I think they'll go from strength to strength, IMHO.

Massive concerns with the Premier League TV rights up for renewal. If Sky failed to win this, especially after losing the Champion League rights to BT, they reckon their earnings before interest and taxes could drop by more than 50pc, I'm banking on them winning as they simply can't afford to lose.

Same here mate, I've been 30% up on ESURE but in less than 10 months I'm now 15% down.....that's one big ******* drop!!!!!!!

A big fall today but I'm with you on this one dduck, I think it will bounce back pretty soon.

I hope so. I've kept faith with them, and held onto my shares, so any up turn is all good by me.

I've just off loaded all my FDI shares and stuck it all on PRG. Doing very well so far. As for FDI, Personally, I'm not expecting much move on their SP until late in 2015. I think as they get nearer to actually mining, their SP will rise very nicely. Obviously, I could get it wrong but I'll revisit FDI later next year.

Good to see this on the rise again. I bought in at 2.08 back in July and saw it drop. Have topped up quite a bit since then so at least I'm now in profit. I've not seen any direct good news but I did pick this up recently: Nov 6 (Reuters) - The first diamonds recovered from Gem Diamonds Ltd's new mine in Botswana will go on sale in February, the company said on Thursday. I'm hoping, like most, that this sale will extremely profitable and I'm also hoping the share price will continue to rise as we get nearer this sale.
