Guitarsolo, I too had my PRG shares with HSBC and have just heard from them today. For my non ISA shares, I've decided to ask for share certificates today. This is a bit of a test to see if share certs will actually be issued. As for my ISA, apparently once the share certs have been issued, they are no longer in your ISA and, should they start trading again, you won't be able to transfer them back to your ISA. You'll have to wait until the new tax year (if you've used up this year's ISA allowance). I'm going to let this run its course as, come 3 Feb, I'll get share certs anyway (if issued).
Just thought I'd see if this BB was still working.
Yeah, just heard from PRG too. At least they're still working towards getting Mothae.
Well it's certainly interesting news about Mothae. Let's just hope it's good news and PRG have in fact acquired it.
JSCSC, sounds just like the news we're all hoping for, fingers crossed. Thanks for the post.
Holeefook, I have to agree with you 100%. Unless I'm being extremely naive, I don't see what personal gain PM can get from this situation. Unless there's some dodgy way that all the shareholders end up losing everything whilst PRG retains Lemphane.
Mike, one way or another, Lucara will get rid of Mothae. We just have to wait and see if PRG are able to purchase it. Happy new year, let's hope it proves to be better than 2015.
I only wish I'd listened to Quindell back in Aug or Sep was it, when he told us the finance package was in danger. Hindsight I know but the fact of the matter is, he definitely knew something. So Quindell, what's the latest on the PRG debacle?
Quindell, welcome back. So what do you think the outcome will be? As it stands, PM will lose alot more than us PIs, is there anything dodgy going on where we could lose out but he's quids in?
Hi Soultyke, I've not yet been in touch with my broker, so not sure what to expect. I've got some of my shares in an ISA which apparently is not allowed. If anyone can offer any advice on this whole situation, it would be greatly appreciated. As far as I am aware, we still hold shares in PRG, be it now a private company and should it relist, our shares are very relevant. GLA.
I've already dropped them a message/e-mail. I appreciate they may still be on their xmas hols but no reason why they shouldn't reply in due course. Will be interesting to see what they say from here on in. Whenever I spoke or e-mailed them in the past, I was constantly told they were limited with what they could actually tell me (insider information) and all that. With us no longer on AIM, I would expect the shareholders to be given full disclosure (or something as near as dammit). Good luck everyone.
I notice PRG's website (latest news) appears to be missing the last four RNSs. Not particularly reassuring, considering we're told to monitor the website for news updates.
If this BB shuts down, now we've been delisted, I believe Discuss The Market will continue to run the PRG board, they still have an Afren board. https://www.discussthemarket.com/company/prg/stream/1/
But nothing more than we all expected. We can only hope PM pulls off some miracle. Good to see there's no further mention of concerns with their financial position. Funny thing is, this now gives PM all the time in the world to sort things out without fear of the SP totally collapsing. However, I remain extremely wary of any news that PRG release, considering what we've been told so far this year. GLA.
LL isn't the 30 day default delist due to not having a nomad. I don't think it's linked to any lender, but I could be wrong.
You can still chat on an Afren board in Discuss the market. I would recommend we use the PRG BB on Discuss the market should LSE close this BB.
LSE Admin, please don't remove this post. There is an alternative BB Discuss the market, which actually takes posts from LSE and III and puts them on their BB. However you can also create logins just for Discuss the Market. If LSE removes this board, then perhaps try that one. https://www.discussthemarket.com/company/prg/stream/1/
Very true my friend, a better outlook for diamonds could certainly help PM get that finance deal he's after. Good luck mate, and GLA PRG holders.
Holeefook, did you see GEMD's final figure today, up nearly 15% last time I checked. Just think, had PM not messed this up so much, that could have been us.
Well according to PM, we should be double digits SP by Thursday, now that's a frickin good chuckle.
