In the past, I've had good comms with Hugo but have not had answers to any of my emails of late. Like I said a while ago, either they've closed early for Xmas, or just closed!!!!!
Some really good posts of late, thanks to all. For what it's worth, I believe PRG will delist. This protects the SP and gives PM time to sort out financing. I also think PRG will get Mothae via the backdoor (Lesotho ministry). Come the new year (not sure when) I believe we'll have finance, get a nomad and relist, with Mothae and Lemphane on board. With all that said, I also thought Man Utd would win this season's CL, so you might say I am prone to deluded dreams. GLA everyone.
For what it's worth, as I take anything from PRG with a ton of salt, the last time I spoke with them they did say they had an excellent working relationship with the Lesotho Government. LL, should PRG go under, I'm sure you'll have a number of people interested in your complaint to the FCA.
I've had some good contact with PRG, but have always been told they can't say too much due to the position of the company. Worrying thng of late, they've not answered their phone or replied to my latest e-mails. Either they've finished for Xmas...........or............ just finished :-/
Surely if PM is acting in the best interests of the shareholders, he'd at least have to offer a placing. I'd have thought to simply put the company into administration would leave him open to the sort of litigation LL is talking about, possibly?
LL, I'm sure this board will remain, even if PRG doesn't.
Surely a delisting from AIM won't necessarily be the end for PRG. I'd have thought bankruptcy and calling in the administrators would spell the end. There must be thousands of companies in circulation that aren't listed, wouldn't PRG just become one of them?
Totally agree with your SP assessment, it'd be total carnage now had it not been suspended. Call me crazy, optimistic or deluded, but I'm still hopeful PM can turn this around.
But thought I'd post. PM did attend Mines and Money yesterday and negotiations are still ongoing. Not good, not bad, and clearly restricted by what can be divulged. GLA.
Well both PRG and the conference have confirmed he will be attending but I foresee a last minute cancellation.
Quindell, sorry you feel that way mate. I've certainly valued your input, only wish I'd taken heed in Oct, would have possibly saved myself £30k. If you get anything else, any chance you could drop me a message or email? Totally understand how you feel.
I read the same report mate, unfortunate timing for PRG. However, there is still a growing market for the larger diamonds, look at Lucara's latest finds.
Nothing so grand mate, I sent them a message, they replied, asking for my number and called me back. TBH the bloke was really helpful but, since this all went belly up, you have to take what they say with a pinch of salt. End of they day, whilst I may give PM a hard time of late, he's the main reason I invested here, I was convinced he was going to turn PRG around. I'm still hopeful that even if Mothae falls through, we can mine Lemphane. GLA PRG holders.
TBH mate, bridges being burned kinda falls in line with jscsc's post. Looks like PM is making life extremely difficult for himself. One thing PRG did say when they called me last week was even if Mothae falls through, it still remains a target for them. Hope I'm wrong, but Mothae is looking more and more like a non starter.
I've just spoken with Mines and Money and, at this moment in time, PM is still scheduled to speak at the conference: http://london.minesandmoney.com/speaker/philip-falzon-sant-manduca/
I would hope Matt is still around, his posts are good value. Although Matt, I wish I'd now got out of PRG when you said if I couldn't handle the heat.......lol
Thanks for all the well presented comments, which mirror my own thoughts wrt PM, his current holding and what is at stake. For what is not a huge amount of money, I cant see him letting this fail.....unless he has something sinister in mind.
They called me last week and all I can say is that they were optimistic about the future. Then today we get this RNS. I'd take everything they say, like their RNSs, with a huge pinch of salt. How the **** do you go from our previous RNSs, where we looked like the next GEMD to going bust? I've lost a stack, just hope this hasn't ruined anyone. GLA.
I'll second your good luck Major.
Personally, what he's said is absolutely spot on. Manduca is all mouth and no trousers, what a number of us have been saying on here for some time now. It also makes a fair point that, in the past year, PRG have apparently announced $53 million of funding, yet still no funding to be seen. To me, it confirms all those concerns I've had with PM being able to talk a good game. If I lose, what is a substantial investment, I only have myself to blame. I thought PRG was going to at least double my money, and now I could end up with nothing. SEN70, I like your optimistic view on selling up but if we don't come out of suspension, it's game over. If push comes to shove, I'd rather forget Mothae, go for a small placing, and get Lemphane in production. It would only take one serious sized diamond to put all these troubles behind us.
