Didn’t last long - what a shame
Excellent trading update today
Rumour is that the Currys shop in shop at Tesco concessions will be rolled out into 350 stores imminently Smaller stores will then close within 3 years so perhaps the little piggies who to the market got something right
On behalf of those of us who are longstanding MRO shareholders I apologise for your minor distress. Not fforgetting of course how the MRO offer lifted the GKN share price out of the doldrums and will probably increase your wealth substantially in the years to come
Suggests CNA like the other big 6 power companies face extinction.
I don’t pay a lot of attention to ************* but their account there’s a lot of egg on the chairman’s face
Sorry that’s ABBA not Alba but the sentiments the same
No DC is under valued Alex Baldock transformed Very and he’ll fix Currys - he’s also a consumer finance expert so we can expect Carphone to improve Mobiles don’t last forever and with 5G being rolled out soon plenty of reasons to upgrade Also consider AO - massive turnover but still losing money - £9 million last year So a £300 million profit would probably be a wet dream for AO holders
Yes Nick Candy could have bankrolled the Triton deal so it begs the question why not ?

The trading update without numbers is partly to blame Dixons Carphone reported breaches today and they’ve engaged leading security experts - hope it’s Falanx At least it’s a growing market
Yes an Institutional investor is offloading and might not be finished so share price recovery stagnated. However I take comfort that the short seller has reduced to .79%
In a nutshell it explains why this share has not performed, Big Pharma is not interested in anti biotics as they are low margin mass market and Ilcaprim is no better than any other antibiotic. Before the lynch mob arrives this is the IC view, though they balance the article talking about drug resistance they say that even with approval it will take years to get further trials and the profile of the drug raised which will cost yet more money. They say that Motif would be better if a larger player bought them out. I am only in this for a punt. The SP has not performed and we all know why, question is whether it ever will. IC thinks not
Brilliant RNS? You’re easily pleased Or perhaps you’re Christopher Eggpeton? He loves placings to settle ‘certain liabilities’ What might they be ? His bonus for doing nothing? If the Travel business is comfortably ahead why do a placing? And now we have another Greek on the payroll. The sale of the T&L business proceeding at the sale pace of a Greek planning application and still no idea of a timescale for the project. The only people getting anything here are the Directors at the trough. Typical AIM disgrace
The longer he leaves it, the harder it will be when we have no choice
Yes and this wobble is a gift -quick trade and 4 months up back to £1.60 and I’ll sell my cheap tranche Easy money
The dividend is not under threat - let’s get this in proportion -however the progressive dividend policy ie 20% more than last year is under question The SP has wobbled before when the Daily Mail questioned the viability of photo booths when you can take a selfie with your phone It recovered and it will do again. Laundry continues to be successful and photobooths have gained a new lease of life. Profits might be flat but PHTM is still highly cash generative with substantial cash and no debt
BUYING OPPORTUNITY YES This will bounce perhaps not tomorrow but it will bounce because its dirt cheap. All the doom merchants you make me laugh. Easy money...........
but the company is terrible at communicating to shareholders and as for all the placings AND when the price is at the bottom....... I'm holding but not adding, no faith in Vonk
For talking this down - I’ll be adding as it’s very undervalued and will bounce no question . GDOR means companies will want email services more than ever to preserve their client lists and recruit new customers where people haven’t responded The international expansion continues and the recent acquisition will have presented cross selling opportunities I’ve been in since 28p and I think Slater added at about this level about 6 months ago which is a fabulous endorsement if ever one was needed
