Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
If streaming is the future, then you can forget Hollywood huge budget films. Game over for that industry. The sums do not add up. Stream it for £10? Nah, people will just pirate it for free. Its as simple as that. Maybe that is the future, Hollywood was far too woke and political anyway, perhaps they should die?
Boris has some nerve, implying its our fault for not going to the cinema, rather than his and his disgrace of a government's fault.
"the production companies make more money doing it this way compared to the box office."
Nope, fake news.
Im going to resist till it falls to 5p, its true worth as a very risky punt.
I urge Boris Johnson to stop all restrictions on people's freedom. Till then I recommend boycotting as much as you can. #Resist.
"Buys flooding back in now" Yes, there is a huge demand to buy shares in a business that is closing the doors, sacking all the staff, and with huge debts. Fill your boots! hahahaha
The title of the Bond movie was strangely prophetic. Time to die. :D
@abrooking Ok, lets test your knowledge. What is the fastest brought to market vaccine in human history? And how many years was it tested. Lets have some facts.
Seeing some very big red candles. Express elevator to hell, going down!
' "Barely tested" is a strange thought' Not really, the stages are irrelevant. It needs a clear 2-3 years to find any long term side effects. Now perhaps if this was killing 20% -30% of people, then we might just take that risk! But not for this.
"Curious. Is the vaccination voluntary?" Useless eaters will have it first!
Having watched the interview Im revising my target from 5p - 10p to less than 5p.
No one is taking a barely tested vaccine for a disease with a 99.5% survival rate so they can go to the cinema. Please drop this vaccine malarkey.
Nope. Hope you are enjoying reading my thoughts :)
Working at a cinema is a weekend job / job to work through uni, its not a career.
I never heard of anyone taking over the debt of a bankrupt company when they buy their assets. Takeover as a going concern? But its not. Its shutdown, not a viable business at this time.
I have a feeling I'll be linking to my post yesterday predicting 5-10p.
We had 3 TVs at that point. Living room, kitchen and my bedroom. Question for you, how many TVs do millennials own?
Google it "Millennials ditching their TV sets at a record rate" And thats from years go!
"what you trying to get at" Im saying that Hollywood will not move to streaming only as it will destroy their income from each movie by around 90%.
"bit shortsighted of those who control the big productions . " Or maybe they fancy buying their own cinema chain for pennies and retain more control and profit? Imagine a big Disney merch store in every cinema. Can totally see that happening.
