I remember reading his entertaining book a few years ago. He has a big fan club though I have never piggy backed his recommendations preferring to back my own long haul choices.

Let's hope his followers tag along as deal volumes are tiny (12 yesterday). However the spread and difficulty to buy in decent quantities can be off-putting to investors/traders.

Wall had a good day yesterday rallying to their highest closing levels since April 2022 lifted by mrkt heavyweights Apple, Amazon & Tesla. The 500 has now recovered 21% from October lows and is entering another bull phase according to many mrkt watchers.

Tesla ($250) jumped 2•2% the stock climbing for 12 straight days while Apple ($184) and Msoft ($334) were up 1•5% both ytd highs and are ahead 41% & 38% respectively so far this year.

Of the 11 S&P sectors 8 showed gains investors thinking the CPI nos will show the economy cooled in May and the Fed will resist raising rates. The rally has widened to include economically sensitive sectors such as energy and industrials.

Risers outpaced falling one's by 2:1 on a below average 10•2 bn shares traded.

Why not an EGM? I take it this recent notice is a special meeting or am I quibbling over the phraseology?

Investors will be focusing on upcoming monetary policy meetings this week for news from the FED, ECB & BOJ on the likely path of rates.

Key inflation nos could impact the outlook for rates as CME FedWatch Tool price a 71% chance they will leave well alone this month but a 29% chance of a rise of •25% in July. Others think this is the end of the rate hike cycle.

In Asia Pacifica stocks are mixed at the start of wk 24 (Australia closed for Kings holiday) but Japan is moving ahead the Nikkei climbing above 32,400 to a fresh 33 year high in early dealings this morning. The Nikkei index which is calculated every 5 secs hit an all time high of 38,957 in Dec 1987 (All time retroactive low of 176 in May 1949).

Blimey in the past 2 weeks MSi has put on 158p (c.442-600) and who saw that coming? Sentiment seems to have changed for the better backed up by higher volumes and trades (see below) we're nearly back to Jan 3rd prices (665).

and if the sp is telling us anything I think we're looking at a bumper set of numbers across all divisions.

The public or free float is said to be c.7m, this obviously changes on a daily basis but my best guess it's probably nearer 3m or soon will be, so not exactly overflowing with paper.

Remember when that last contract win was announced the stock jumped from 470 to 745 in a flash. Not been so good since but I'm not downhearted at all.

I have had a few precautionary buys ahead of the upcoming results as I believe if the results are ahead of the mrkts expectations it will be dam near impossible to buy any.

A friend of mine had to pay 50 above best a day or so ago. So it may pay to watch the shares very carefully in the coming days.....just saying like.

Don't want to be a killjoy guys but there were a few caveats in the interview with Mark. I'm sure that was him being prudent rather than alarmist.

This far down the road it does suggest that its more a dotting of the i's and crossing the t's than a data roadblock. While a few of us are speculating as to Panthera's likely share after others have been accommodated (partner/GOR etc..) the accrued value is going to be in a different postcode altogether.

Not counting my chickens just yet but 'dem eggs' are accumulating rapidly. The Bolly and salmon are ready for serving up.

troajan couldn't ignore today's price rise so jumped back in but nowhere near my holding of past months. luckily i'm considerably up on my other choice so hopefully a win win on both counts.

well done to mickey1122, prof, edhellas, ejt, pollack, lawrence, sporty et al for keeping the faith. thats the beauty of shares if you drop a ******* you can always get back in....its going to be a very exciting few months.

No doubt excellent results and ahead of my expectations. Gross profits at c.£44m more than the current mrkt cap (c.£32m) is ridiculous. Add on cash balances of £17m makes Gama one of the cheapest stocks on the Lse.

On Wall overnight the Dow eked out a small gain while the Nsdq fell 255 on profit taking. Fed (FOMC) watchers are pricing in a 63% 'stay as you are' on rates next week at current 5•25% which is the rate banks lend money to each other.

The US trade defecit ($75bn) widened to a 6 month high the most in 8 years as imports rebounded. In a surprise move the Bank of Canada hiked its base rate to 4•75% a 22 year high.
