Deepjoy imho the offer has got to get down towards 11.25p to clear ACACIA. Buying volume around 11.7p has dried up.

Deepjoy the placing was hugely oversubscribed, If an extra 38M shares had been placed they would have been snapped up. Yet a few days after the placing 38M shares become available, yet the market is struggling to find a home.

So looking at the Acacia agreement dated 04/06/20: An escrow payment of £35 million (part of the 224m deal) was required to be paid by the 6th business day after the 4th June. Hence I believe the dumping simultaneously of the PLC holdings which I assume allow quick return of funds.

Date of Agreement:04/06/20

Clause 5.7 If:
(a) the Escrow Amount is not received in the Escrow Account by the sixth (6th) Business Day after the date of this Agreement, at any time thereafter the Seller may terminate this Agreement.

‘The Company expects to fund the Escrow Account with proceeds from the sale of the assets acquired in the Portfolio Transaction.’

As per the latest RNS Acacia sold 25 million shares in Open Orphan. Reducing from 6.51% >2.29%. We know they started reducing in Synairgen from the 8th June and almost certainly carried on reducing in yesterday’s high volume. Today was always going to be a difficult day owing to the above reasons and the need for Acacia to raise the down payment from the existing portfolio putting pressure on Synairgen SP. Once they are done selling we should get some fresh air and start moving up imo. DYOR.

Hopefully Duncan will elucidate on the Acacia purchase today. If they intend to be a support SH (after initial dump to meet escrow payment) then surely they would have been in touch with the 4D

Its obvious ACACIA stocks is being pushed through the open market as BEGO pushes down on the offer.

Would appear the II from the oversubscribed Placing have walked away.

BEGO moved back on the OFFER. Imho BEGO have been the main MM clearing ACACIA stock. When they finally move from the offer, stock will have cleared. Aimho

ACACIA continued selling has put the dampers on any positive reaction.

Anyone invested here imho needs to sell out in order to get back something while they can. This is another RRL.

Why is the Market struggling to clear the ACACIA stock when a recent placing for 110 million shares was said to be 5X oversubscribed. Thats demand for 500 million shares and there struggling to clear 13 Million.

LOL LOL LOL So which part of Open Orphan is a worlds leading TOP Pharmaceutical company. HVIVO is not quite there yet with a MKT CAP equivalent of around 40Million

If the remaining 13 million has to be sold through the market, then that makes a totally mockery of the placing being 5X oversubscribed. If thats the case then the 5X is BS from Friel.
