Of course anyone since December shorting is down no two ways about it , These are the people that were betting on it going bust , but it’s not going bust !

They haven’t really lost boss , they probably been shorting this since £5 , then £3 then it went to £1.50-60 range in the last year so they are probably still up overall ..

Profit from this jump from about 40-50p this week after the results , I know most people are still underwater seeing this share was around £5 before the profit warning last year !

I can see £1.80 again next week , after all the profit taking !

What do you guys this ?

This does not affect their retail performance , has nothing to do with sales , however no point in arguing , I have my information and not wanting to argue in this point .

However the business is not going bust and neither is going to give stellar performances like the past ,

Competition is very intense , supermarkets have reduced and matched a lot of thier prices now …

I am from a retail background and know the Aroura family from over 40 years when their father was selling wholesale stuff in Manchester , i know what I said and can’t give my sources however no company will tell you they have had rent free agreements on shops but if you look nearly every town in uk their shops ar winter old Woolworths shops the smaller ones and they have their own bigger stores as well.

These are not the best of the results , I can’t see them improving that much , why ?

Most of their shops were old Woolworths shops which they had rent free for 5-10 years when they went bust , now these agreements have ended they have to pay full rent and with margins squeezed I can’t see them improving very soon , competition is intense !

I have added more , I was waiting for this price from a long time , great buy and hold and wait for full year results this will be &4

Funny enough they disappear as soon as this share starts to raise , “longs doomed to failure” , “ more profits for shorts” sic lol

Kroger ending exclusive contract is BETTER for Ocado and they get a free run in the USA where they love tech , Ocado listed in USA would be considered a tech stock and not a grocer like here in the UK , They have started to make profit and from here onwards there is only one way and that is up , This runout came out in September so there is nothing major about this , a Great stock to hold and forget about , and there will defo be a bid in the future from a USA big boy company .

This is a blessing in disguise and with Kroger deal they could only work with them , there market is huge in the USA and the future is tech , no robot needs a pay rise or paye type employment taxes . It’s a matter of time and this will be flying again , they already said they are going to make a profit and this 200m

Boost will also help ..

They are losing $50 million from the deal but gaining $250 million in compensation , This is a win win for Ocado , Just a panic for no reason , how can making £200m bet be a bad deal ?

Tbh , the results are what was expected , I don’t think anything in there is scary , and with the recent drop looks like everything is priced in .

I bought 200000 on Friday morning at @191 , this is a great buy as they have started to make profits again and could jump to £4 again on or before results , if Kroger pulls out they have to pay millions to Ocado and Ocado have a free run on the USA market , otherwise Kroger are locked in , so it’s a win win for Ocado , and there is always a chance of a bid !! Statement about what ?

Nothing major is wrong with this share , just dropping with overall market , there is no accounting errors or anything ??

I have just bought 200000 @ 191 , This will bounce soon imo …

If the windfall tax is axed at the budget in 3 weeks , this will be £3 on the same day , and it could even go higher. This share is way too much undervalued just need one good push and it will be flying IMO ,

Very hard to trust labour , I thought the tories were bad but this lot is even worse , They have made all money guys move abroad with the removal of non dom status and this levy is killing the industry , and the even opposed it in opposition so why not do the decent thing and remove and support your own companies with more produce and export !!

This will bring in more tax that any EPL would ever bring !!

If these idiots (govt) reduced or removed the EPL there tax take would increase by more production and more investment in the North Sea by British firms , And this share would double in an instant !!
