within a 0.5p band since 25/01 now. This is unusual as the sp very rarely stays so flat for more than a few days and frequently moves, one way or the other, by several pence over a month or two.
Market waiting for something - without moving ? Unlikely I would have thought. Market happy that 19.5 is the bottom ?
Pressure on shorts has stopped increasing so fast - (but they are all still there at a record high) so maybe ?
Any other theories ? Just looks unusual to me. Maybe I'm overthinking it ?

Notice another big sell today - who has this endless reserve of shares to sell in 500,000 or 1,000,000 chunks daily ?
Or have a lot of very unhappy shareholders formed an orderly queue to bankrupt themselves one at a time just as the sp may go up ?
Either scenario seems very unlikely - nowt so queer as folk.

I've emailed the company today very politely asking if they can let us have any info on Farmout, Kiliwani Production and Ruvuma Development Licence. Not holding my breath, don't expect an answer but thought asking couldn't hurt.
In the ( very ) unlikely event I do get an answer I will of course share it.

Gave HL a lovely excuse to show their bid at 19.86 and knock 0.07p off the value they declared when the buys are all 20p + and the UT of over 1.2M shares was also 20p..

I would buy at anything below 1.50.

GK just thinking along the same lines. Market seems to like 20p and despite some several 250k sells am and 3 500k sells pm there are some nice large buys this afternoon which seem to be helping.
Hoping the news beats me to my next opportunity to topup !

Essentially agreeing Alan - but some form of update, ir even better actual news is badly needed, unless the aim is to drop the sp as low as possible making any dilution as bad as possible (which would seem very unlikely), so come on SXX say something !

h1oyo I said I started buying at 0.77p before the 20 to 1 consolidation - what do you make 20 x 0.77 if its not 15.4, as my entry point ?

Caddy 3p is below my ave (4.3p) and at todays price I am down about 60% or just over £11k.
I started buying these at 0.77 pre consolidation (15.4 post) and have spent far too much trying to average down and failing, like many others, to catch the falling knife.
Believe me I feel and share the pain.

gaf11 I really hope you're wrong as 3p is below my average and would leave ma down at least 25%.

and lots of averaging down to acquire 825000 shares at a paper loss of around 60% and these guys all pick up a million apiece at rockbottom prices ( which the company created ).
On one hand I assume the price is as low as they think it will go and they will make a killing if we get anything like the sp we expect. On the other - I may well ( like many others ) struggle to break even let alone make any money ewhile they laugh all the way to the bank ? Forgive me if I'm not overjoyed for their good fortune.
