Codey thats what was said when the last placing ( which wasn't going to happen ST2 Sept 18 ) actually came about in April /May this year.
Getting a little cynical now, why should this further dilution (500m dollars at what 10p to 15p so another 2 or 3 billion shares = an ultimate total of 12 to 13bn ) be any different.
This really us destroying value for the PI - its agonising to watch and take part in.

It would be nice to see another RNS with a slightly more detailed explanation, but as there is nothing this morning looks like we're working on second hand gossip and unsubstantiated opinion or JPM's reported opinion that another cash call or more equity be required.
Isn't that exactly what the company were trying to avoid and why aren't they saying anything ?

If that is what he thinks why try to sell them in July August in the first place ? Unless he has a crystal ball how can he know things will be more stable in September ( although they usually are to be fair ) . In which case as I said why try to sell them during the summer break in the first place.
I want to believe him but after the last 12 months I don't - and it seens to me there is more to the story than Chris is telling us, again. Very poor.

15 Nevertheless FGraser is playing fast and loose with PI sentiment - he either thinks we are incredibly trusting ( why would we be - he doesn't seem too worried about us ) or worse he thinks we're incredibly stupid.
I can't make my mind up which it is but however this turns out I don't feel very well treated - shafting PI's 3 times in less than 12 months take ruthlessness to new limits and goes a hell of a long way to destroying any faith or good sentiment towards the company, or him. After all each time we were told "aok it will happen" only to find the complete opposite at the last minute.

Long term the decision is probably good ( for the company and the I I 's who will surely fill their boots today at these prices ) but from a PI point of view then getting hammered like this obpver and over again is f***king unbelievable.
What really pi**es me off is watching the big boys hoover up millions of shares from the panic sellers, ably assisted by Chris Fraser, while LTH see their dreams shattered repeatedly.
Now looking at an unfeasibly high paper loss, not selling, will hold, will top up, if I can find some money.

Realist - or a long suffering, long term investor trying to help a disruptor realise their goal ( and make a profit ) unlike some of the leeches in the market who will do anything to make a short term gain with no regard for the consequences ?
Like many others I think SXX is a terrific company trying to do something very worthwhile against tremendous odds and some seem determined to do all they can to undermine that.

As someone holding shares long term at an ave of 22.odd I wish the shorters would burn.

Does make you wonder just what the FT has against the project. They constantly publish critical comments, usually like today, at a critical time, which seem light on fact.
It would be good to see an in depth analysis, with plenty of detail aimed at allowing investors to make up their own mind instead of lightweight biased criticism which seems aimed at trying to make the project struggle.

It seems "they" just can't bear to see the sp go over 15p ?
