at 8.97 bringing my average down by 0.76 to 20.94p. Couldn't resist but had to sell some other shares to do it.

Maximus worth checking again after close they often update late in the day, however 5.20 is a good way down from recent highs, even after dilution.

I'm hoping so, if I were on the bod I would want something out there to discuss rather than wait for the inevitable questions about the strategy document if there is nothing ?

last September thinking we are about to get good news or have seen the bottom, the sp has fallen further. Still positive,still optimistic, still trust SXX to deliver - but for now I'm just going to put any spare cash I can into my account as I can and wait before I buy anymore.
Very tempted to add and average down if I can, but also very wary about where we go from here.
Another RNS explaining strategy or giving some upbeat message very much required IMO after 11 months of steady decline. GLA LTH

No bonds for several weeks maybe an opportunity to massively average down ?

Absolute 14 day RSI is around 10 or 11.
As I understand it over 70 is overbought under 30 is oversold.
I have never seen an RSI of 11 before.

700m shares have changed hands - 10% of the shares in issue.
Does anybody know the numbers for previous finance events ?
Curious to see if this is unusual or just par for the course.
That said dropping to current sp levels (approx 5 yr low) is extreme even for SXX.
Any technical analysis to indicate where we go next or how long ( don't say September ) the sp will continue to drop ?
At this rate we could all double our holdings for peanuts, just like a few well known large funds.

“How not do it” - fair point, lots of lessons about managing expectations, communication and especially public/investor relations.
Fully appreciate the need to pull the bonds - still appalled at how it was done and “explained”.

Yes the bind news us disappointing. The Board haven't exactly handled ST2 Finance in a way that management schools teaching MBA's are hardly likely to study. The silence after the one line RNS is bloody appalling and very costly for us all - except the johnny come latelys and shorters, including the funds we want to/are already invested.
But 7p or 8p is ludicrous not selling, will top up if I can at this price the benefit for LTH is worth it IMO if you can raise the cash.
For goodness sake though SXX say something positive to counter the wave if negative oress and sentiment. GLA LTH.

Fred well done, you're ahead at the moment and I may not get any more, still need to find the cash ! I think its great you've been able to reduce your daughters average as well.
I persuaded my wife to buy some shares last year ( ave 28.9p ) and have offered to buy more to drop her average but she refuses to discuss it - definitely in the doghouse even if the sp bounces.
Oh well, you can but try - my intentions were good and I offered to cover her loss if there is one but its become one of those issues best left alone.
