I suspect it is that the most unwelcome news in the RNS, was delivered in an appalling fashion.
Whilst there are many points of view and a huge amount of reaction, speculation and downright desperation in some cases, there is no doubt in my mind much of this could have been avoided with a more considered, detailed and informative RNS.
On that basis, while I accept all the points made about letting the board get on with their job, PI's being more careful about what they say and to who and the need to trust the board and stay positive if they ( the board ) want to know who to blame they only have to look in the mirror.
I hope they do monitor LSE and believe they must be aware of the storm they have unleashed so I look forward to another, more considered RNS. Hopefully with some more information about where we are and where we are going, in broad terms of course, offering some crumbs of reassurance to the PI's.

jonesrichard its all to do with 10yr v 3mth and or 2yr US treasury bond yields, which are recorded daily. See some if the posts yesterday, with good links or search in google.
Essentially things started to look worse from end of May with 10yr yields dropping below 3mth yields followed by 10 yr yields dropping below 2 yr yields just before the decision to pull the bonds was made. I'm no expert and others know a lot more, see cherokee 101 posts, but uf you want a heads up checking the yield rates seems the way to go.

I suppose after effectively waiting from September last year until now to resolve financing ( and watching the sp fall from 38p to 9p ) another few weeks isn't that long. However I suspect I'm far from alone in wishing that the company would get this sorted, some degree of certainty and sp recovery and stability returns. Then maybe we can all look to the future without dreading the next RNS and see the kind of progress we all know is possible. That can't come quick enough.

Fred I also emailed investor relations and got a reply ( to my surprise ).
Essentially exactly the same for the first two paragraphs with minor differences in the third.
Lets hope Sirius are able to fulfil their confident expectation of a positive and robust engagement after the break.
The alternative doesn't bear contemplation. As others have said ( and we didn't expect to still be here now ) squeaky bum time.

Shenanigans - I suppose after the abortive wait for the bonds and crap that came with it, we can look forward to another 3 or 4 weeks of this nonsense.

It seems, reading the article on the link, that the markets are worried the Fed may not want to ease monetary policy ( I thought they were trying to put interest rates up to prevent inflation ) but as they have succumbed to pressure from Trump to cut rates - not raise them in July as I wrongly said below ( but not enough for Trumps liking ) and this seems to have an adverse effect on the yield curve it looks like there is some confusion in the US about which way to go ?
Hence the markets hissy fit ?

Sounds reasonable to me duracell. I'll try to find out more - cherokee 101 ( or perhaps others out there ) may be able to answer better than me ?

cherokee101 thanks - learning all the time. The HL reference described how the gap ( at its narrowest on Wed for 12 years, but 10yr still just over 2 yr ) was regarded as an indicator of likely recession, which makes perfect sense added to what you say about Fed limited room for manoeuvre, although presumably they are in a better place than they were having raised rates ? Maybe this is why Donald is so ticked off at them for not increasing the rate by a greater margin ? ( Not that I rate him as a great economist ).
Turning to Duracells point 21:09 is his point about a gap of 0.20% between 10yr and 2yr rates a good measure ? We are both trying to work out how to follow the indicators to keep an eye on the numbers and maybe get a forewarning of what the market is thinking.

duracell from what I could glean on the HL site its the US 10yr treasury yield compared to the US 2yr treasury yield. Apparently earlier this week the 10 yr yield dropped below 2% which is unusual and at one point was only 0.08 above the 2yr yield of 1.61. This gap is seen as an indicator of the likelihood of a recession and was the worst figure for about 12 years. The figures have now improved a bit I believe. Have a look at the HL stock market report for the DOW on Wed.
I also googled Us 10yr and 2yr Treasury yields. Hope this helps.

A quick check back on shorttracker shows LMR holding 0.21% from 06/08 and Polygon craftily moving to 0.49% on 14/06
bringing the total to 6.86%, but there will be more ?

Arrowgrass have reduced thier position to 0.40% and dropped below the 0.50% recording figure
Anew player has appeared HBK Investments at 0.73%.
The FCA figure is now 5.76% up 0.08% from yesterdays 5.68% - although we know Arrowgrass and others lurk out of sight below 0.50% - anybody know the real total and is it down or up ?
Are HBK late to the party or do they know something ?

Fred totally agree but still think the lack of info is appalling.
A brief explanation ( not one line ) of the reasons for pulling the bond, why (not explain the importance of 10year and 2 year bonds)which seems to be the issue and give some indication of other avenues being explored or future intentions ?
Simply saying earlier in the year that they have funds until September and the pulling the bonds at the last minute and saying when market conditions improve ( in 3 weeks - guessing as no info and the bond sake us a 3 week process, apparently ) ie just before the end of September was only ever going to end one way. Maybe thats what they wanted, as others have pointed out its a great opportunity for those with deep pockets or shorting to make a killing while all the LTH PI's, strapped for cash, watch as millions of cheap shares are hoovered up ( and some just give up in desperation and sell at huge losses) . Very very poor way to treat the existing shareholders is an extremely kind way to describe it. Hasn't exactly enhanced the companies finances or reputation short term either, they look absolutely clueless, or outmanoeuvred ?
