Classic case of buy the rumour sell the news

We have seen 4-5 major shakes and each time and we get less volume. Anothre tree shake probably wont yield many more shares so I suspect MM's may have to raise price today to get the sellers.

As previously mentioned no one wants to be out of this share over the weekend or net short as news can strike any time.

There is a new theraputic rather than a vaccine which has great potential to treat Covid-19. We may hear some further good news in next week or so which in my view will trigger a rally in this share and travel stocks in particular.

Brilliant Ghia that research article was written by French researchers, so multiple countries experts are arriving at similar conclusions with inhaled interferon being an effective treatment.

I read that Betterlifes trial was performed in China without any rigourous controls so the data wasn't of any quality so thought they needed to effectively repeat P2 but if they doing a P3 later this year then thats still good for us.

You mention Beta has been shown to be better than alpha at fighting coronaviruses there is a good paper on this posted at the start of the crisis.

Have Synairgen themselves tested this theory and is this where the paper originated? Ta

Sparkle1 you are correct to a degree there are actually 2 competing companies making similar nebulisers that use inteferons.
Dibs and others you also correct in saying Synairgen has both the US and EU patent for he nebuliser.

Here is the crucical difference
Synairgen / SNG001 uses the Interferon Beta
Better Life Pharma / AP-003 uses Interferon Aplha2B

In a nutshell Synairgen own the patent to the Beta kind.

The good news is AP-003 still needs to go through Phase 2 trials and is still patent pending for its Interferon Alpha so they are 1-2 months behind Synairgen in the development stakes.

So you can see the team need to be really pushing the treatment through as our advantage is literally a few months :)

The bad news is Better Life Pharma are a USA company so will have far better support/corners cut than our UK setup :(

My average is around 80p so been a distaster of a share for me. I am worried for the future as the stores I have visited are no where near as busy.

So much rides on the new CEO and the strategy. I think more store closures will be necessary and I hope there is a huge focus and push to increase online market share in the new strategy.
