They will never ban short selling. It also has a lot of good uses to it.

It’s up to the investor of shares to watch for short selling and buy and sell your own investment to protect against drops in share prices.

Short selling is a massive part of investing and would be hard to ban it. Fx investors use it all the time.

The person actually shorting is risking a lot more than a long term investor. Shorters may drag a share price down but if the companies fundamentals are good this drop in sp will be short term. If the companies fundamentals are not so good then the sp might be dropping for other reasons

Yeah the massive drop was 100% unnecessary and I have full confidence in the team. Was a great reply from them. They went into quite a bit of detail in it and said they expect to give an update mad q4

I reached out to Hzm earlier and have just had a reply back. It’s definitely settled my nerves.

They sound confident that they’ll be able to get to production.

They did say that the 35% is on the $537m but are “expecting “Araguaia Line 1 to still deliver strong returns, with lower quartile cash cost and a mine life of 28 years”

I guess unless they sold yesterday their down some millions of dollars
